Mainly, I'm bring this up to discuss the fact that I'm centless after paying for a Distance Rod Plus. I'm glad I bought it because I was questing for it. A question though, will I now be able to sell the older, normal distance rod that I have? Or will the distance rod plus not work if I do that?
Otherwise, just a bit of discussion:
1) Bait degradation
2) Filtering
3) You love for fishing
4) Got questions? I'll do my best to answer them...

Congrats on completing your quest. ^^
I fish here and there, mostly becuase it usually doesn't load for me.
Since I rarely fish, I only buy the F baits. ^^ I also heard somewhere that F baits act like A bait for the first two games of a day~ I don't know whether that's true, becuase I don't want to waste my gold on grade A bait. xD
It also helps that I want the trash anyway. <.< >.>
As for filtering~ I still haven't fished enough to get the basic patterns down. Just when I think I'm on a roll, I always guess wrong. =P I guess I just can't get the overall pattern by fishing once or twice every couple weeks...
To understand where you're coming from.... Did you upgrade your rod, or buy a new one?
As I understood it, upgrading your rod to a plus changed the rod you had. This wouldn't leave you with two rods... You also shouldn't need a normal rod for the plus version to work...
If you do have an extra distance rod, and don't have any use for it, you can sell it. ^^
Edit: Nevermind... I just took a look at the shop, I think it does work differently now...
You shouldn't need the older one, for your plus to work. It just doesn't seem like how Gaia works. Though I can't be 100% sure of my last statement. ^^;;

Well let's see.
To fish, you need these items:
1 fishing rod (start out with the basic plain, 'fishing rod')
1 bait (baits vary: F, D or A. Best to start with F)
Do you have all those things? Or are you having actual computer problems where the fishing screen won't load or something like that? smile

I've heard people complaining about their A baits and giving them more trash after a while... but I can't speak on it from personal experience. sdrawkcab Haha~ you split up my post. xD I knew that I wrote too much. =P Okay~ now on to the reply. ^^ Naw, you didn't write too much! smile I just like to break things up so I can organize how I reply. sweatdrop I also think it looks neat. sdrawkcab I like Bass'ken because there are large intervals between my fishing games and I get out of practice quickly. ^^ I find the red guppy to be the hardest to judge because I swear they have many different patterns. =P

I like the rainbow helms, but they'd be hard to match to everyday items, so I'm not sure whether I'll get those either. ~
I've only tried fishing at Durem once back when I was new to fishing. I still remember the loss of 25g because I couldn't catch anything. I won't be going back to Durem for a long time~ xD
I hope you catch some fish the next time you try Durem. =] Those pebbos make some nice items. ^^Oulixeus I still haven't had time to check what would happen.... [x] Awesome! I was looking for that thread! Thanks a lot. Yesturday, I fished in the Durem Recreational Facility for the first time in a while and I actually caught fish. It was really exciting. I love my distance rod plus. On another note. Who here has heard of the angelic rod? I'm very interested in that but knowing me, I wouldn't have the opportunity to get it. It would probably be too expensive. Let's hope it's a donation item, shall we?

At the moment~ I can't think of what the official rumors are, but I'm pretty sure that it won't be released as a donation item. ^^
It might come with the famed quest system~ but again, I think someone else will have to tuck in and give info on the official rumor. x]

Are there rumors about that too? It sounds pretty interesting... and it sounds like it might give everyone a pretty equal chance at getting certain items.

The quest system should allow all users a chance to obtain old donation items. This is a rumor as the admins once said that they were considering this. The older the item, the longer it will take. For example, questing for a halo would take around four years or so to complete. =P
Two items that we can expect to get from the quest system are the angelic and demonic backwings. ^^
No one really knows the exact process of how you will go about your quest or when the system will arrive. -__-;;
