Odyssey was busily arranging a few new items on the shelves. She looked tired but no worse for the ware. The pig-tailed blonde had just gotten back from her trip into Xanth a few short moments ago.
She went to retrive something that was rather specifically asked for and ordered. Odyssey, of course, aimed to please.

Kamira fairly bounced as she walked along, heading to the store she hadn't seen since her visit. The redhead had put in her request on a whim, and she'd never expected for it to go through until she'd recieved her notice that the item had arrived. Barely containg her excitement-and pushing down a sudden sense of anxiety, she reached the building and entered.

"Hello there!" Odyssey greeted Kamira cheerfully as she entered. The blonde put up one last item before turning to face Kamira with a smile, "So wonderful to see you again!" It was easy to see she was sincere, as always.

"Hello!" Kamira replied, just as cheerfully. "Good to see you too." she added, also sincerely, though the politeness was automatic. She hesitated, suddenly not sure what to say next, her eyes roaming the interesting shop while she thought. "So, um...I hope I'm not late or anything, I came over soon as I got your message."

Odyssey shook her head, "Just in time," The blonde chirped in a reply, If you would follow me to the counter we will get all the paperwork done and you can go home with your item!"
Without waiting for a reply she twirled around and wandered to the counter. From under the counter she produced a large-ish sized case that was obviously holding the item, then she brought out a pen and some papers, "Got a name for her? Also would you like to see the item she will originate from?"

Kamira blinked at the sudden business side of the seemingly spacey girl she remembered. "Oh, um, I did have a name in mind. Er, is Lore alright?" she blushed a bit, second-guessing her choice yet again, and walked up to the counter. "And, sure. I'd love to it-her-whatever."

Odyssey grinned and nodded, "That's more than fine, dear. More than fine." She opened the case, "It's a beautiful name." Odyssey assured her stopping mid-opening to scribble it down on the paperwork and scooting it toward the young woman, "Go ahead and sign and I will finish opening the case."

"Right. Will do." Kamira replied, relieved. She slid the paper towards her and quickly scanned it out of curiosity. Judging it to be trustworthy, or just too bored by fancy-talk to read it too closely, she signed it with a flourish. Placing the pen down, she then stood on her tiptoes, trying to see just what Odyssey was doing.

It seemed like Odyssey was purposely taking forever to open things or just aware she was being watched she undid the clasps and gadgets to where Kamira could easily see. The blonde then pulled the case open revealing:
The clock in all it's glory, "She's a beauty."

Kamira's eyes widened and she let out a quiet gasp. "She is..." she agreed breathlessly, any doubt at calling an inanimate object "she" gone. The redhead hesitated for a moment, then held out her hands. "May I...?" she began, not sure on the protocol for this type of event.

She nodded smiling lightly, "I'd be shocked if you didn't." Odyssey replied seeming all that much happier that the young woman was so taken with the item.
At that point an older gentlman hobbled out, "I got yer journal ready." He grumbled softly and dropped it on the counter amongst the paperwork. After dropping the book he promptly went into the back again.
"Grumpy old coot." Odyssey murmured after the man.

"Thanks." Kamira said, her innate shyness taking over once the item was safely in her hands. She juggled the weight for a moment, then reached out for the journal once the clock was tucked carefully under one arm. She was too taken in with the clock to notice the old man or take offense at his abruptness.
The girl peered curiously at the book, flipping it open to see the smooth blank pages. "This is for me? Or Lore, once she's old enough? And has hands."

Odyssey giggled a bit, "For you at the start, and then you can give it to her later if you wish. When she is old enough to write of course." She beamed at Kamira happily.
"That is all, unless you have any questions or concerns?" The blonde leaned forward onto the counter.

"Oh, right. Er, I don't think so," Kamira shifted the weight around, trying to get the clock and journal into a better balance. "Unless I'm supposed to be doing something special while she's an item." She hestitated for another moment, now curious. "Can she hear? Or see, while she's like this?"

Odyssey shrugged and chuckled, "Just make sure nothing breaks on it, and it'll all be fine. If she can hear or not I am not sure. You can sing or talk to it if you like. I think a part of them appreciates being noticed no matter what their form or if they are or aren't aware."
