Okay, lets see . . . I like so many. I'll probably add more to this list later.
Neil Gaiman - especially the older stuff, new stuff = boring Poppy Z. Brite Mercedes Lackey J.K.Rowling Lemony Snicket Anne Rice Christopher Pike - (young adult novels, I liked them a LOT when I was younger) Francesca Lia Block - (ditto with above) Stephen King - The ones that are a little less verbose. rolleyes Virginia Woolf

I'm a huge Anne McCaffrey fan. I have almost 50 of her books now, and counting, and I've read most of them more than once, especially her Dragonriders of Pern series.
I also like Terry Pratchett a lot :3 'specially his City Watch books. Vimes is the best character ever in literature, EVER.
James Herbert was always a favourite amongst horror authors, too.

Well, let's see, I know there are a lot . . . . J.K. Rowling Lemony Snicket Gail Carson Levine(particularly The Two Princesses of Bamarre) Patricia Maclachlan(although her books are a little hit or miss) Ursula K. Leguin(again, a little hit or miss. I loved A Wizard of Earthsea, though)

It's funny but I almost put Ann McCaffrey on my list but, then I decided I hadn't read enough of her books. It was a really long time ago when I read them but I remember really enjoying them. Some images still stick with me even though I can't remember the plots too well.

I don't have too many. But these are my most favorite (Frank Peretti and Susanna Clarke only have one or two books with more to be expected.

haha sorry Its odd but I never did enjoy books that much from america o_O I always read books from other countries.
One of them had to be a ONegai Teacher Fanfic by go zappa
anotehr one has to tbe the Gravitation Novel
and vampire hunter D. Once I find out the authors names ill tell you all.

most of you most likely have not heard of her but its Tamora Priece, my favorite books are also by her and its actually a sieres, the first one is The Song of the Lioness, which the books names are, Alanna the First Adventure, the second is In the Hands of the Goddess, the thrid is The Woman Who Rides Like a Man, and the final one for the sieres is Lioness Rampent. and i can remember the names to them so later i'll post i guess... xd

I love Sarah Dessen!!!!! Every book of hers that I have read has been the best!! I haven't been able to put it down until I have finished it! I also really like the book Seperate Beds by LaVyrle Spencer.
