It doesn't seem much like the anime at all. sad You havent seen initial live action yet? its almost been a year. Anyway, a LOT changed from the anime. 1. Bunta is drunk all the time(masterfully played by anthony wong)2. Ryosuke is in the night kids. 3.No keisuke. 4. No iketani. 5. Iketani and itsuki are melded into one person(called itsuki), he drives an s13. 6. Itsuki is the son of the gas station owner. 7. There are only races between Takumi and nakazato and a three way battle between Takumi ryosuke and seiji(not including the battle between itsuki and nakazato). The relationship between natsuki and her ''sugardaddy'' is explored further. Overall its really good, the driving seens and acting is all brilliant and it looks as though it will become a cult movie just like the anime.

its a cool movie and the drifting is awesome...but they killed the anime storyline....so it gets no points from me haha
