Gomenroia PLease define spoiler threads? Threads that tell the ending of a book or a movie. For example (hypothetical): if the hero dies at the end of the book, don't say "Yeah, he dies at the end." If someone asks you about the end, PM them about it. Do not post it in a public thread. To the mods: I hope that I wasn't going into your territory, there. Just offering a little help.

A spoiler gives away largely important parts of the plot. So that if someone were to read a post about a key part of the plot, whoever was reading the post containing the spoiler would now know parts the story, and be dissuaded to read the book.

Thanks for that. I thought "spoiler" only applied to the ending. (Myself, I don't have a problem with spoilers, so if you're just dying to tell someone the ending... I'm your guy... girl... whatever.)

I have a question, would it be possible to sticky a thread speciffically made for "spoilers" because I have several books I have read that I would like a few more opinions on than just my own so I could further understand it. Most of the questions I have will give away the book. and maybe so you go in there looking for a certain answer but you see the end of another book in another post (that would be bad too) maybe like you could make it a rule to post at the top of your post or question what book it is in red letters so that people could just skip over and not read that post.

Good idea... I love spoilers, but I am aware that most people don't. This is an awesom idea. PM Istari_knight about it.

Good idea... I love spoilers, but I am aware that most people don't. This is an awesom idea. PM Istari_knight about it. As said above, we only ask for spoilers for The Dark Tower 7: The Dark Tower. Really only because it just came out. I also just took out above that we will ask for spoilers for Dark Tower 6: Song of Susannah, so you can talk about that freely. Any other book is fine to talk about without spoilers. The "rule" for spoilers for Dark Tower 7 will be lifted in about three weeks. So if you want to discuss the Dark Tower 7, simply say it's spoilers. Example: ****SPOILERS***** I loved it when so-and-so died, and when this happened. WOW. (or) Example 2: I loved it when (highlight the following) so-and-so died, and when this happened. WOW.It's simple. Easy to do. Either one is fine. And is only needed for The Dark Tower 7. Also, to everyone, expect within the next week a few changes in the rules above. We're becoming vastly populated (far more and faster than I ever dreamed), as BouncingSouls pointed out, and we're going to need to make some minor changes soon.

Anyone have any objections to taking the spoiler warning request off? There's going to be a few changes to the rules soon. By the way, I made some new Guild banners for all your sigs, if you want them. Number OneNumer TwoNumber ThreeNumber FourNumber FiveI really like the first and the last.

The new Guild banners look great. The Crimson King (number 4 I think) is my favorite. In fact I think I am going to go put it in my sig now.....

I found this in the sig of a user named Tenchan. To use it, I would PM her.
