I would like some advice on what to name some new stuff in the RP. There are going to be things in the RP that have never been in any other Fire Emblem, so I don't want to give it a stupid name. I don't want to call the Light Magic good against Anima "AnimaReaver", that sounds stupid... Input your advice concerning the "Current Problem", which will be posted at the BOTTOM of this post. Once I see a result I like, I'll move on to the next problem. Also, I am open to new ideas. If you want me to add an aspect or item/weapon to the RP, go on ahead.

Current Problem:
Big problem: I just figured it out. The Lords. There are 4 of them. One uses a Lance, three use the sword. There is only ONE Legendary sword. No, you can't equip the Legendary for your secondary weapon. Even if you could, you guys and girls get LANCES upon promotion, and Lise is getting the lance! This means, two of you aren't getting Legendary weapons unless you change the weapon you are most proficient in, preferably to perhaps magic, since none of the Lords in FE history have been magic users. You don't have to, of course, but you'll need to decide who gets the sword if that's the case!

why
shadow: dark, evil, and such
anima: natural/neutral, common
light: bright, good

eh, whatever....
I thought simplicity might do good...
but probably the wrong words....

Anima that beats dark: Sear
Dark that beats light: Keris

Light magic 'apparently' stems from Faith, so enough faith should over power anima, so i called it Faith

Sear, because i can't remember what lord athos' book was called but it sounded like 'Sear' and when i used Sear on a dark mage the book was pointing down instead of neutral. so, a really powerful flame... hmm.... so i called it Sear! ^^

And then Dark magic never really had a meaning( except i think nosferatu is french or something... and flux was like.. a fluxation of time and stuff...) so, i called it Keris because it sounded cool!

I think the light beats anima: Faith is the best one out of the category

Here's how it is going to work, based on what I've seen.
I like "Faith", so it'll be the AnimaReaver.
Since no magic in Fire Emblem has been two words, I went and found a synonym for Black Hole. I liked "Abysm", so that is the LightReaver.
I did the DarkReaver myself. The closest nature gets to light is solar power. My favorite word concerning that is "Corona". No, not the beer... xp

It is done.
Next Problem:
The Lords have the possibility of getting Occult skills, but I don't want them to all have Aether. Only ONE will have it, and it will be a sword using Lord. That means everyone but Lise can be a prospect for Aether. I have decided that in the event of an indecision or tie, the following prority list will be used: Darius, Terra, Zephr. Everyone else needs another Occult Skill that is just as good. Suggestions?

so... one of the lords(not Lise) will earn/already has the skill aether, and you need to get other skills for the other lords... hmmm... i think i got that right... my thought well is dry everyone...*goes to buy thought plants*

Well, maybe I should've pointed out that I was referring to the skills in PoR. Aether is like the best Occult Skill in the game, since it is a two hit combo, the first heals you equal to the damage you dealt, while the second one halves the opponent's defense before doing damage. While this owns nearly every enemy in the game, I can't have 4 Lords with that ability, should they decide to use their Occult abilities. If you have no idea how abilities work, it's not really hard to figure out. They are basically extra goodies that can alter the outcome of a battle. Go to gamefaqs and read about it. If you still don't get it, you probably want to avoiding helping me in this topic. Basically, I want you all to invent some really kickass abilities for the Lords to learn, k?

what about IK not just for an assassin, but to a lord whose primary weapon is the sword?

hmmm, falcon lord...
what about something that inhances speed? B/c doesn't speed determine evasion as well as movement?

what other lords are there?

One does happen to be a Rouge Lord... ninja
Terra is a... Heroine Lord.
And Darius is the classical Knight Lord.
