I grew up with the dub for 6 years, so what can I say? xD I'll have to go with what got me into the Digimon fandom in the first place. Besides, it actually isn't that bad. Some of the dialogue is really funny, too.
Though.. I don't understand.. why did they take out the part where Kouji clobbered Takuya with that stick!? Dx I always thought the scene looked weird.. then I found the episode online and saw what -really- happened. Seriously. It wasn't that violent.. ._.

Yeah, I think most of can agree that we 1st saw the dubbed Digimon, but the biggest problem, in my opinion, is the things they dubbed off... for example, the whole whacking of the stick.
There was another one, where (I can sorta see why they dub part of this b/c here, Digimon is supposed to be attracted to "the smaller ones") Izumi was trying on bathing suits. Of ourse running around in a skimpy red outfit & the background says "sexy dynamite" would be cut here, & I can understand that, but when Takuya & Junepi heard a scream from in her room & they mindlessly barged in... Junepi had a nosebleed. I thought that was one of the most hilarious parts in that episode.
As for the puns they say in the show, I think some of them are kinds funneh. My Digimon pun for the week is...

Some of the things they do dub out really aren't that serious though. For example the whole stick thing. I mean Kouichi in purple neaked while talking to the team in episode 48 I can see that, & sexy dynamite I can see too, but seriously. I thought it was inda funny to see Takuya hit with Kouji's stick.
Kouji has an obsession with sticks! O_o;;

Okay, here's another. I didn't see "A Hunka Hunka BurningGreymon"'s subtitled episode, but does anyone remember the "monkey dude" from the storyteller, & didn't the monkey end up whacking Takuya on the head with his boomerang??
Then there are some other scenes with Izumi trying to ger her way from the Trailmon (getting a ride, I mean. XD) by rubbing her butt against it's cheeks.

Well, I grew up watching the dubbed version of Digimon on TV. I was only 10, so it's not like I knew the difference between dubbed and subbed to choose. But like I said, I grew up with the dubbed version, so I really like the dubbing. But now that I'm older and I'm able to find subs, I like watching that as well. I like to see the translation differences and Taichi swearing every few sentences. xD
Bottom line: I don't care what language it's in, if it's Digimon, I'll watch it! 4laugh
