All creatures in Arcadia are fae related. No humans.

Fae- The immortal fae dont show themselves often, so very few but the high elves know what they look like. All that is truly known about them is that they are immortal and they run the Seelie and Unseelie courts according to their whim. (not playable)

Elves- elves are the result of the fae breeding with humans. They come in four differnt types, two of them are nutral. their average life span is 500 years.

High Elves- these elves are neutral, appearing in both Seelie and Unseelie courts as well as governing over the city of Faeopolis. Included in this type are the king and queen of the city and the entire ruling body (other than the fae themselves) in each court. They are taller than most humans reaching an average of 6 feet or taller. Where they govern seems to affect their skin colors unlike most beings who are bound by a single color and that is their alignment. in the Seelie court they appear made of silver with black hair. in the Unseelie court they appear to be made of obsidian or onyx with white hair. and in the city they appear made of gold with matching hair. always is their flesh reflective and hair long, below their back. Their eyes are almond shaped and look like polished gem stones and can come in any color no matter the court. they wear clothing based on status, the higher the status the more fancy the clothing.

Light Elves- belong to the Seelie court. They grow to about human size averaging 5'5" some shorter, some taller. their hair and skin can be any shade between white, yellow, orange, and red, though not necessarily matching. e.g. one could have red skin and yellow hair. Eyes can be any color.

Dark Elves- belong to the Unseelie court. They grow to about human size averaging 5'5" some shorter, some taller. their hair and skin can be any shade between black, purple, blue, and green, though not necessarily matching. e.g. one could have green skin and purple hair. Eyes can be any color.

Wood Elves- are neutral. They prefer nature to anything the courts could give them usually roaming the forests beyond the city and both sides of arcadia. they are the shortest of the elves, most not even reaching 5 feet. their skin comes in 'normal' colors, shades of brown ranging anywhere from pale tan to deep ebony, even mottled colors and stripes to help them blend in more. their hair is usually brown or green as well as the eyes, but rarely one sees a wood elf with gold or blue eyes. they are very good with a bow and some say they can talk to animals.

Faeries-literally means 'little fae'. made from the pure mating of fae with fae. seem neutral but their underlying nature remains Seelie or Unseelie, though ALL faeries play pranks. Can change size, anywhere between 6 inches to four feet tall. They appear as androgynous elves with antennae and gossamer wings, usually butterfy or moth for Seelie and fly or wasp for Unseelie, but any type of wing is possible. Their colors are constantly changing and their average life span is about one week. almost noone notices though as there are a lot of faeries and more are being born all the time, and one faerie is ofen the reincarnation of another so it seems like one faerie could live forever. when they die they turn to dust, sometimes mistakingly called 'pixie dust'.

Pixies and Sprites- are actually the same thing. Pixies are the female and sprites are the male. some think they are the resulting race from a mating between halflings and faeries, though how one could mate with an androgynus being is not known. pixies and sprites are not neutral and show their allignment with skin colors and wing types, Seelie being white, yellow, orange and red with light colord wings like dove or owl; Unseelie being black, purple, bue, and green with bat wings or raven. other wingtypes are available, but those are most common. hair and eyes come in any color. they average about 18 inches though some come as tall as two feet. because they only live one year they change appearance based on the season; winter is pale skin and furs for sprites, gossamer dresses for pixies; spring is vibrant skin and leaves for sprites, flowers for pixies; summer is bright skin and dried grass for sprites and leaves for pixies; autumn is deep colord skin and bits of bark for sprites and dried leaves for pixies.

Halflings- the result of wood elves mating with humans. average about four feet, a little shorter then their elven ancestry. they come even more natural than the elves having human colord skin. they have pointed ears, but barely, not as long as most elves. their life span is about 200 years and they prefer to live in huts outside the city. they are neutral.

Half Elves- any other elf mating with humans. about human height, human colors, and pointed ears. life span is about 200 years. neutral though some like to allign themselves in order to not feel left out.

Angels- the result of Seelie fae mating with either high elves or light elves. usually white but can come in any color of the Seelie. they are sterile, so more angels can only be made when a fae takes another elf to its bed. usually look like an elf with wings and long flowing hair, but they have amazing shapeshifting capabilities and so can appear as almost anything. life span is unknown. (un-playable)

Deamons- the result of Unseelie fae mating with either high elves or dark elves. usually black but can come in any color of the Unseelie. they are sterile, so more deamons can only be made when a fae takes another elf to its bed. usually look like an elf with bat or other wings and long flowing hair, but they have amazing shapeshifting capabilities and so can appear as almost anything. life span is unknown. (un-playable)

other races in arcadia- these races are playable, but their link with the fae is unknown or complicated. you can also make up your own as long as you make sure to say how they are connected.
Gorgons- possibly a mating of fae with reptiles.
Dwarves- possibly a mating of halflings with ogres.
trolls- possibly a mating of humans with orcs.
giants- unknown origin.
orcs- possibly a mating betwen a deamon and an elf. (figure that one out)
ogres- possibly a mating of humans wth trolls.
centaurs- possibly a mating of fae with horses.
etc. etc.
