Hokay. We have threads for alot of characters, but I didn't see one from Alphonse H. ^_^
So.... what do you think of him?
some fun info:
Alfons Heiderich
Alfons Heiderich from the movie "Fullmetal Alchemist the Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa".(Voice: Shun Oguri)
An 18-year-old boy who bears a resemblance to Alphonse Elric and befriends Edward in the movie. When Ed talks to him about his and his brother's travels around his original world, he feels a bit annoyed because although he finds Ed's stories interesting, he can?t believe in the fact that Ed came from another world where alchemy is real. When they befriend Noah, he becomes a bit happier because he thinks Ed is starting to socialize more with other people besides himself. He's studying under the father of modern rocketry, Hermann Oberth, and wants to prove the scientific worth of his fellow Germans by achieving a rocket that can actually be ridden, thus leaving his mark in the world. He suffers from a disease that makes him cough blood caused by over-inhalation of fumes from rocket fuel (not Tuberculosis, as is a popular assumption), and he knows he does not have much time left to live. To accomplish his dream before his death Alphonse joins the Thule Society in their plan, but is shot and killed by Rudolf Heߠwhen he uses one of his rockets to sneak Edward into the portal to his homeworld, fortunately he dies happily, knowing he can send Ed back to his own world.

Hmm... for one, your siggy made me want to cry for some reason.
Anywho, I totally love Alphonse H. I'm sure alot of folks here agree.
I don't get why there wasn't a bigger deal among the characters when he died. Even though he was a character that's pretty main, at least in the movie and all, he was underappreciated by the rest of the FmA crew and I personally don't think he got enough recognition as a character.
He's blonde, and German, and ohhh so kawaii and he just plain ROCKS.

I know. my siggy is sad. I made it because I saw the movie today. ;-; Oh, Alphonse! T___T I think Ed was a little affected, but he didn't show it.

He did for a moment or two... but then Al Elric showed up, and Noa was being weird... and all that other shiz-nit.
But seriously, after that until the funeral scene, it seemed like he totally forgot it happened.
Right after I saw the movie I was obsessed with Alphonse H. and Al E. for quite awhile, so I can't blame you.

And i liked Al H before i even knew alot about him.. xD

My subtitles were messed up, too... she's Rose's Alter form. It said something like "Laia" or something like that. Her name's Noa, though... just for the record.

Its official, i am the only FMA fan not to see the movie yet....
But Al H. gives me warm fuzzy happy feelings.... oh, and is the official keeper of Alphonse E. in her closet planning to abduct Al H, or is he still up for kidnapping/groping/generally annoying?
And, if he was away from the fumes, does that mean his lungs would improve?

I liked him in the movie. Him and Ed had that brotherly love goin' for 'em. Which you'd expect since...yeah. o_o

Well, damn... i was the generic brand filled with Tuberculosis theories and a dream for a safer future...
okay, not that last part.
I was soooo afraid that Alphonse H. was gonna sound like a girl the whole movie when he was laughing at the beginning. Seriously. I was happily suprised when he turned out like he did, for now he's real high on my favorite character list.
That's right, I have a list! (Fact- this is not really true, but Contemplative does have an out-dated list dating back to the first [a s] airing of episode 20 in her planner.)
