Pick your favorite one on the poll but posts are also much welcomed.
We've been thinking about starting an RP but we are unsure what direction to go in to interest the most people.
My tastes run kind of strange. I wanted to start a Greek Gods and Goddesses RP but, Tallie discouraged it, with good reason.
So, what do you think? Suggestions would be apreciated! Or if you want to start one of your own, please feel free to. We are going to make a subforum for RPs eventually but, since we can't afford to yet, we will be running them on the front page for the time being.

I honestly don't mind. I enjoy all genres except hard sci-fi, and I can turn my hand to even that if the plot/characters are well enough thought out. I mostly enjoy fantasy or modern fantasy, though.

I like sort of twisted fantasies. I once played in an RP where all the characters were children stuck inside of toys. Things like that that are just wild and crazy.
But besides that, I'll go for a lot of fantasies as long as they encourage creative characters and have a nice plot. I also like modern RP's with a little fantasy twist.

It doesn't really matter to me that much, but I really enjoy horror. I mean the older stuff, vamps, werewolves ect-- it just gets old after a while. No offense to those that like those, I just prefer to jump from one genre to another to another.
That's understandable isn't it?

I go with the classical fantasy. <3 Talking Princess Mononoke style. XD I love fantasy books and such, and I've grown up watching fantasy movies like Legend, so I'm sticking with it.

I created that Roleplaying subforum 3nodding Feel free to post some RPs in it, all. It follows the same rules as the main forum does, so just make sure you look at them first.
Have fun! Once we get back home, I'll start RPing, too! I'm just busy at the moment, but an interesting RP may be able to tempt me ninja If you have any questions, feel free to post them up here, or PM me.

Frankly. I couldn't give a damn about what I RP. As long as it pertains correctly and modestly ot it's genre and is written decently and has good RPers an a good story I'll probally join it: favorites?
If I had to say it'd be:
Horror-Survival
Modern
Modern-Adventure with Fantasy Overtones
Non-Fantasy Medieval
Medieval with Fantasy Overtones

I'm really into cyberpunk and sci-fi. I'm not too picky with other genres, but chances are you aren't going to find me in some romantic vampire roleplay (three words that can mean the same as "overdone") or one based on some anime/game (unless said anime/game's storyline is wide enough to accomodate it or I just like it a lot).
I find it kinda disappointing that nobody's made a good Shadowrun roleplay in Barton Town yet. And if they have, it's long dead.
Ooh, and survival horrors are cool, too.

It's like Resident Evil-ish usually. But people who only want to kill zombies with "loads of guns" usually join. =/

I'm just fond of any old thing. Usually fantasy related either loopy fantasy or just normal fantasy. I'm also fond of the medieval era in general so sometimes that comes into it too.

I like the fantastical role playing. Role playing in itself is fun, but being able to learn about new races is awesome as well.
