All beginners are welcome, regardless of where you hail from on the fancy Zelda map.

In fact you're all required to come here. stare

Even the awesome crew members, such as myself, are a little rusty at roleplaying. sweatdrop

Since we're a new guild we hope to create a network of members with friendships among roleplay characters, and even romantic interests whee .

It will be so cool, nintendo will want to buy the rights to it. 3nodding

Welcome, all.

Lya leans against an old tree. "Another day." It's cold outside, and her pink sweater isn't enough. I should have known it would be cooler today, she thinks.

Suddenly, the sky (Which is already dark,) blackens, and there is lightning off in the distance. Lya looks down at her feet, which are suspended in the middle of a two-inch deep pool of water. "Not cool," Lya says, "Not cool at all."

Water began to pour from the sky like a dam in the clouds had just burst. Domri shed his cloak quickly before it became heavy and wet. There was a crack of thunder, he counted. "One second passed, two seconds passed, three seconds pas--" A flash of light lit up the dark sky. He was never frightened of thunder and lightning, but that ominous flare of brightness was too close for comfort. Domri's body begged to have the warm red cloth over it, but the cloak would only be a hindrance if it got wet. "To hell with it all," he mumbled without any real fire behind his words.

((Hausea!! *Slaps you with a wet fish* Present tense, babe!))

Lya realizes that if the tree she is under gets wet and is struck with lightning, it's goodbye for her. She jogs quickly out of the way and up towards the deck. "I need to make my way back to Lake Hylia," she mumbles to herself.

At the end of the small dock is a shop, and Lya enters to stay dry.

"So," a voice grunts from the shadow in the far back. "Lya, is it?"

"Is anyone out here?" Domri calls into the pouring rain. Normally, he can see quite far before his vision blurs, but the rain in his eyes makes seeing more than a few feet impossible. He won't make it back to the castle before nightfall, so the only way would be to go forward toward Lake Hylia. Maybe there would be someplace warm and dry to rest, and perhaps sleep. "Of course that's what everyone wants, some wet guy sleeping on their floor," he says to himself, but it wouldn't be the first time someone had let him stay the night. He puts his hands in front of him and does a little circle, and finds the direction he hopes is Lake Hylia.

Lya finds a small lightswitch behind her shoulder and flips it upward, turning back to see a large man in a fishing hat. There are all sorts of strange baits attached to it.

"Headed to Lake Hylia, eh?" The fisherman asks. Lya nods, and points her head toward the direction of Lake Hylia. She's very close, as she came along the river.

"I heard your Mama's there waitin' for you." The fisherman winks his chubby eyelids, and bends over to lift a wet fishing-reel.

"Mama's at the castle. It's my aunt... she's got something to tell me, she seemed serious about it."

"You best get goin' then," The fisherman says, "But first, take this rod. There's some good fishin' tonight."

Domri can almost hear the sounds of water, but its probably the rain playing tricks on him. The steady static downpour starts to take its toll on his ears. Voices and sounds form out of the thunder. The rain seems to whisper to him from behind, but he knows to ignore it. If he turns around, the bleary emptiness will get to him. Thunder and lightning may not make him give a second glance, but fear and loneliness are certainly something to avoid.

Lya takes the fishing pole unsurely, and turns the reel a few times, testing it out.

"Uhm, thanks... Mr... What's your name again?" Lya says, propping the rod on her shoulder.

"My name's not important. You best be goin'."

Lya smiles crookedly and walks out the door. "That sure was strange... Didn't he know it was raining? And why did he think my mother was waiting for me? I don't even have an aunt..."

Lya walks out onto the deck slowly, and looks out to Lake Hylia. Around the lake, there are a few circular houses.

"Maybe there won't be some good fishing tonight, but I know that my father sure makes a great bread..." Lya slowly starts to stride toward the smallest house, carefully making she that she doesn't trod in the mud.

Kalianyah tied her long hair back with her long black ribbon. She checked the reigns on her horse to make sure they were secure before pulling herself onto the large creature. Its fur, black like her own hair, began to blend with the approaching night. They fled the ranch in a flurry dust. Kal and her stallion Ralyion continued on their ride through Hyrule field. She rode for hours before the inky blank blanketed in the sky descended upon them. The storm hit full force.

((Present tense guys, don't forget!!))

Lya makes her way to the small house as she hears the sound of footsteps from far behind her. Ignoring them, she stops and glances at the wooden door. Putting her hand on the knob, she turns it gently and walks inside.
"Pops?" Lya calls, looking throughout the house. She notices that there is a note on the pantry. She reads it.

Lya, I have gone out to the Castle town to buy more supplies. I am bringing back a surprise. See you soon, Father.

Lya sighs, and sits down on a chair at her table. "Maybe he left earlier and is coming back now.

Domri squints into the rain, now he's sure he can hear the sounds of the lake. People sounds. This makes him feel almost warmer with the prospect of sleeping inside. Inside, the word resonates in his head, inside where they have fireplaces and hot drinks and blankets. It gives him new strength to trudge forward into the dark blur.

The sounds grow in volume, still just barely audible. The dim sounds of voices, and the crackling of fires. The smells of cooking food vaguely drift through the wet shadows, seeming to beckon him forward.

If this is not Lake Hylia I am heading toward, he thinks absentmindedly, then to hell with Lake Hylia.

Lya's ears adjust to the sound of rain outside. It's beautiful, she decides. Gorgeous. She remembers the drought a few years back, and how the lake had almost completely dried up.

Shaking her mind free of the thought, she takes off her sweater and notices that, luckily, the shirt beneath is dry. She changes into a different skirt, and ties her blonde hair behind her head.

"Maybe I should start another design," She thinks, as she pulls out her sketchpad and a sharpened piece of charcoal.

Domri begins to hum as he goes along. Even in the storm, he's sure he's on the right track. "Dum de dum, dum de dum, dum de dum de dum," dark objects seem to form, they look like houses, but he can't be sure they're even there. Their outlines are barely a distinction, but as he moves closer the black smears on the horizon come into focus. They must be houses, or at least big house-shaped boulders.
