I think that Dumbledore's 'murder' was set up. I think that Snape only killed Dumbledore on his orders. Some proof: Hagrid overheard Snape and Dumbledore arguing, and Snape said he 'didn't want to do it anymore', to which Dumbledore replies that he 'agreed to do it and that was that'. Also, how would Dumbledore know that Draco was trying to kill Dumbledore if Snape really wasn't on their side? I also think that Dumbledore was pleading with Snape to get him to kill him. Why would Dumbledore appear to be pleading with Snape to help save him if he already made it clear (in the first book) and again in the sixth that he did not fear death? Also, when Harry was trying to prevent Snape from leaving the grounds after Dumbledore's death, Snape was actually giving him advice: "Blocked again, and again, and again until you learn to keep your mouth shut and your mind closed, Potter!" Also, why would Snape become so enraged by being called a coward if he had not just been brave and had done what Dumbledore asked him to do, and killed the only person who really gave him another chance and trusted him? I believe Snape is innocent. Simple as that. ninja
