Lethrossen Plitter, plat, plitter-plit. Plit-plat. The rain seemed to smack against the window in random patterns, only flying against the slick glass when a burst of wind flittered through the skies. Ares had found himself in the lounge, watching the storm gravely. It was late, probably late enough for others to be sleeping. The rain made Ares restless, and since he couldn't sleep, why not just watch it?
The sky was a mass of angry, soot-colored clouds. If not soot, than darker. The flashes of lightening came and went, though more slowly now. Each thunder rumble was steadily growing apart, and the zodiac thought that the storm would ware off soon. He leaned closer to the glass, lids lowering slightly. It was amazing, the storm. Or maybe just how powerful nature could be?

Golden hued eyes stared up through panes of glass. Endless droplets cascading along it's smooth surface as the sea of clouds rolled far overhead. No sky broke through the dark depths, only flashes of ominous lightning following each echoing boom. Slowly retreating, farther off in the skies. Not soon enough though.
A loud 'hmph' escaped the kitsune's mouth as he quickly turned from the window. The clouds would be there all evening, and that meant the sky was off limits. Another of these nights with no end, dreaming up madness. One of the faults of being nocturnal, there was rarely a soul to occupy one's time. Thus if weather stole away your activities there was little to do.
Which meant a night of wondering for him, as there was little he enjoyed doing inside. Go required an opponent, which rarely existed in the deepest points of the evening. For it was that time now, was it not? Though it was hard to determine such a thing with the heavy cover in the heavens, thus he simply marked it off as too late to find company.
Yet there would be some it seemed.
Halla had only wandered but a minute before wandering into the lound, where he so often chose to spend these tedious nights. What was to be seen there, but another creatures, it's skin the shade of dark chocolate, with vanilla for hair. Oh, now he was suggesting people looked like snacks, shame on him.
"What does that one see in the ocean of madness where Zues wages war?" For certainly all the golden haired male saw was dissapointment.

His left ear slicked at the words spoken out loud, not quite catching them because an ominus boom of thunder rolled through the earth at that exact moment. It did, however, cause the other to turn slightly, eyes flicking around the room before landing on the other.
He quirked a brow a moment, shoving himself away from the window and brushing off a moment, a habit of some sort. He didn't realize anyone else would be up, usually he himself would be asleep. He debated a moment before moving forward. "What?" He grunted out, his voice trying to be at ease. Or perhaps those words hadn't been for him at all, eh?
