I've seen some RPs around so I thought I'd start one. I've never really dont this kind of thing before so I'll get to the point.

Rules

1. Keep everything on the main thread PG-13
2. No killing or raping of characters (unless it's your own or you've talked it over with the other person)
3. The only female characters that are allowed are adults or children in adopting families.
4. No flaming and don't yell at people who make mistakes.
5. No over quoting(I've seen this and it was really annoying).
6. Keep everything PG-13. If you want to do R or above then take it to PMs. DOn't just say that it's rated R or above and then white out the rest. Children aren't stupid, they can highlight.
7. Try to be literate and re-read what you wrote to check for typos. It's not that I'm annal about that it just makes it easier to understand what you wrote.(Note: This only counts when you're in character. You can write however you want in OOC posts.)
8. Don't take up space with OOC posts. If you want to say something out of character then do it with a new IN character post.
9. Have fun.

Setting
The setting is an all boys orphanage in Gale City. All ages are excepted into the orphanage and when a boy turns 18 he can leave. There are only two adults at the orphanage, the man who runs it and the custodian. Most people in Gale City are excepting of homosexual relationships so it's perfectly normal to see a gay couple walking around or adopting kids. The story starts only a few weeks after the orphanage opened so there are only a few kids there (the first three people can be at the orphanage, after that you have to start with them coming to it).

Character name: Xander
Occupation: orphan
Age: 15
Race: Human
Description: 5'9 with chin length black hair and pale grey eyes. Skiny and girly looking. Likes to wear baggy pants and tight shirts.
Personality: Very kind and always willing to help people out, especially if they're new to the orphanage. Is gay but will only tell people if they ask.

History: Xander can't remember his family and when he was younger used to dream of them coming to save him from orphanage life. The orphanage he was at before was very poor and the man who owned it was cruel. Something happened between him and Xanderbut because Xander refuses refuses to tell anyone what happened all the CPS could do was transfer him to the new all boys orphanage in Gale City. He's also an empath.

Character name: Jake Kelly
Occupation: Runs orphanage(I don't know the name of this occupation)

Race: Human
Description: 6'0 with light brown hair and brown eyes. Average build and is normally wearing a button-up shirt, suit pants, and a tie.
Personality: Very kind but nervous about his new job. He tries to make the orphans feel at ease and hates it when they're sad.

History: Jake always wanted to help kids and teens who didn't have families so when he heard about the new orphanage he quickly applied for the job. He came from a normal family but was kicked out of the house when he came out to his parents. Is currently single.

Character name: Jack McGowan
Occupation: Orphan.
Age: 14.
Race: Human.
Description: Jack actually looks a lot younger than he is - messy brown hair and chocolate brown eyes ("puppy-dog eyes" as some people say). Even though he dresses like most kids his age - a simple pair of baggy jeans and a t-shirt - he still often gets people thinking that he's twelve. Shy but cheerful, he actually tends to be very sensative about his age this way.
Personality: Cheerful and happy, but incredibly shy. He usually won't talk to people unless he knows them already.
Uke/Seme: Uke.
History: Jack was an orphan at the young age of three - he got shipped around to different orphanages after his parents were killed in a burglary. He was the only one to survive that night because he hid himself underneath the kitchen sink. After that, he was incredibly shy, and didn't really like strangers. While he became cheerful over time, he's still very shy and doesn't talk much. He hopes to be a historian and work in a museum someday.}

Race: Half human, half wolf (Weird yes...but if you had the section RACE I figured I'd be the first NON-full human... ))
Description: Bruno has dark black hair and tanned skin. His eyes are an emerald green. He's about 5'11 with a fairly built body; not ripped but not scrawny . Bruno is often thought to be older than 16. He usually wears tight jeans and tight shirts. He's also got glasses...can't see very far without them ^_^U
Personality: He's quite the loner from afar, but once you pass through his closed off gates he's a really fun guy. He's a bisexual and proud of it. Although, he's not one to just flaunt it like crazy.
Uke/Seme: More often the uke, but on occasion he can be seme.
History: He was born into a very bad family. He lived with his mother and stepfather in the not so happy area of Brooklyn, NY. His real pop died mysteriously. His stepfather was a construction worker who always complained about Bruno not doing anything to help the family out....Bruno was only 6. His mother was an alcoholic. She sometimes beat him during her drunken rampages. At the young age of 11, he started getting into street fights and winning. These street fights helped him learn to defend himself. When he turned 13 he finally snapped on his "parents". He faught back...dislocating his mother's arm. He was sent to a juvenile "prison" for 8 months. After that, he was put into a random orphanage. He stayed at this crumy place for the next 3 years. He would soon be transferred to a new orphanage in a place called Gale City......

Jack swung his feet over the tree limb in the small back yard of the orphanage, hopping off lightly and landing on his feet. He stood up and stretched, yawning widely. His T-shirt (which was just a tad too small) crawled up a bit at he stretched, revealing a small portion of well tanned skin of his chest. He slowly walked towards the back door of the orphanage, deciding to head up to the bedroom that housed the orphans.

Jack smiled back, replying in a quiet, but not timid, voice.

"Just outside, up in the tree. There's a great view of the city grom there," he said, chocolate brown eyes glancing curiously at the book in Xander's hand.

"Never had the chance to," Jack said, his smile saddening. He vaugely remembered his parents' bookshelf in their old house - he had been so young at the time. The day of the robbery was clear in his mind, sharply so, but everything before then was a bit of a haze, like looking through cloudy glass.

Bruno sat in the back of the cab, listenting to the loud music coming from his headphones as his music played. His eyes were shut and he had an odd, blank expression on his face.

The cab suddenly jerked slightly, coming to a hault in front of a large, lovely building. He stared at it for a moment before looking back to the driver. He pulled on a chain at his waist and out slid his wallet from his pocket. He handed the guy a 20 dollar bill and opened the car door, stepping out and going to the trunk. When the cabby popped the trunk, Bruno pulled out a black messenger bag covered in patches(of bands) and easily got it over his head and settled the strap across his fairly toned chest. He then reached for a slightly large gym bag and slung it over the opposite shoulder, shutting the trunk afterwards.

He gently banged on the side of the cab, signaling to the driver that he got his junk, and the cab drove off. Bruno stood for a few seconds, watching the cab as it faded into the distance, before turning to the building in front of him. 'Well...better find my room...' He started for the front doors and when he got to them, he shut off his cd player and knocked rather roughly on said doors.

Xander's smile faded a little when he noticed the sadness coming from the oher boy. Did I do that? He wondered. Pushing the thought from his mind he forced the smile back to the way it had been before.

"You should, it's really great. I could lend it to you if you'd like."

Jack quickly regained his composure and smiled lightly again, seeing the slightly strained smile on Xander's face. He (Jack) tried not to think of the accident that much anyhow - he always seemed to withdraw even more than he did normally when he thought about it.

"I'd like that," he said, his smile becoming more genuine.
