The Innsmouth locale of the First National chain of grocery stores. A fine place to start researching, as the personnel here seem to not have contracted the "Innsmouth" look.

[walks into this market with his friend, my hankerchief coverign my nose to keep from the awful smell]

Paul walked into one of the general stores and picked up a switch blade

The man behind the counter, looking much like the bus driver, made a few motions and almost incoherant noises, in the end comming up to a figure close to around a thousand dollars before looking off to the right where the shadows moved unnaturally, as if someone was there...

Paul put 1000 dollers on the counter and walked out with the switch blade in his pocket
They mostlikly got a ton of gold and yet they charge like the world is about to end

The store manager's eyes nearly bulged out of his head as he seen the money, ringing it up in the cash register...The switchblade was worth about 10 cents and when he looked away Chyrel COULD have swiped it.
From behind him, a rather 'normal' sounding voice let out a "Hey! Over here!" in a whispered tone.

A man in the shadows began waving him over quietly, looking around every now and then to make sure he didn't get spotted in his display, hoping to help the newcommer.

"Ahh, I can't tell you that right now..." he stated as he began to walk away. "Zadok's a known drunk, and quite possibly one of the oldest members of Innsmouth." The man hinted lowly to Paul before turning the next corner...
The docks, as it happen to be, would be straight ahead and to the right a bit.
