I don't know a lot about them, but as much as I know is VERY GOOD!! I would consider Stratovarius to be a mixture of Power and Progressive metal if I were asked, and Dreamspace is my favorite album by them. Anyone else like them?

They're a cool band. I reckon "Dreamspace" is their best album and then "Infinite". They do a good cover of Rainbow's "I Surrender" too on "Intermission".
"Fourth Dimension" bored the hell outta me, that's my negative statement which I have to make to seem credible.

They are a very good band, sort of underrated as well. For starters, try "Hunting High and Low", great song by them.
Though, there version of Greensleeves is nice as well.

Not a huge stratovarius not because I have anything aginst them I just always get into other bands when its time to listen to stratovarius... I have heard them and I do like them... LoL

I got the intermission album and I must say it's great in every song, their ballads are amazing, specially "will my soul ever rest in peace", as for a great song to star with, I also recommend "hunting high and low" since it has good lyrics, great sound and a quite impressive... "speed of light" is also a sure bet since it has great guitar sound cool
Too bad they are not really famous, I got to know them by a friend who sent me "speed of light". But it is definitely a must-know since they have great lyrics lead by powerful music and a good voice.

i've got the 'Visions' and self-titled albums and i love them both. Visions is the best one i've heard, in my opinion...
fav songs: "Dreamweaver", "Pheonix", and "Black Diamond"

I have tried promoting them ammong my rock/metal listening friends, so far only my brother and a friend who is very deep into power metal have taken the time to listen to them, the rest are still exploring hard rock but they say they'll try them once they feel satisfied with their quest... the rest of my friends like hip-hop and that s**t >.>

I really like Stratovarius. Songs like Phoenix, Hunting High and Low, Black Diamond, and even Paradise are awesome. I really like Stratosphere too, it's insane.
