METRO MEETUP 2006
Alright. Chibi Blinks and I began our discussion of this years Metrocon meetup, and we wanted it to be a little more fun than last years. Once again we will be providing pizza. Here are the NEW things~ We will be having games with prizes to be given.
Date: Saturday, June 3, 2006.
Time: 10pm (Time subject to change)
Location: Tables outside of Convention Center facing the Official Con Hotel nex to the water.
Price: $8(?)

EDIT: Okay, while our Pizza Party meet up is at 10pm, we need to have a meet up earlier in the day to collect money to buy the pizza with. This meet up will be on Saturday as well, at 10 am. We'll probably meet up at the tables in the front of the convention center(they're inside). If this is confusing to you(as I'm not very clear),please pm Chibi Blinks.

How do I sign up?
Post in this thread that you intend to come to the meetup.
Why is the price more this year?
To cover not only the pizza but help us out in the cost of prizes, candy, drinks, and an extra present! That and. It's really hard to find decent inexpensive food around the Convention, and this food comes with fun. (Also. The party is costing Chibi and I well over 60$, we figured $8 is a fair price for the rest of you.)
Why is the time so much later?
1. We will not interrupt with main events
2. We want you to have energy [from food and sugary goodness] before the rave.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes, but please let us know beforehand by posting that you will be bringing a friend. (and your friend has to pay too.) You may still bring a friend if you haven't posted about it in the thread, but they still have to pay.
Can I pay extra? (ha. ha.)
We really wish you could, you can if you choose to help us out with the extra money we're forking out as well as the people who come but may be a dollar short. If you pay extra, we'll probably give you the leftover pizza we usually have. 3nodding
I don't have enough money, can I still come?
You may join in the games with prizes, but you might be excluded from the pizza party AND you will not recieve our special present you get for paying your due.
Do I have to wear a name badge?
We really wish you would. We'll be posting Gaia badge templates later.
How can I help out?
There are many ways of helping out. You can either help set up things before the party starts, donate money to help cover extra costs, oorrr donate more candy.
RULES
1. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES. None, under any circumstances may be consumed at the meetup.
2. No destroying of public property. The property at the meetup is not ours, and is not ours to destroy.
3. Do not be rude. If you have a problem with any member at the meetup, discuss it elsewhere and away from the meetup.
4. Do not fight. Even play violence will not be tolerated.
Please remember Gaia Online is a PG-13 site, and all parties relating to it will be following PG-13 guidelines. This means that you must act accordingly, no drugs may be used, and keep fowl language to a minimum.
