Um....hate to say this but your avi needs more if you want it to look good. Sometimes plain looking is good, but that's because it has something that gives it somewhat of a trademark. Waldo for example from the "Where's Waldo?" books has a very plain outfit but the hat and glasses are his trademark. Stripes could be too, which reminds me that you need a theme. It could be anything: colors, objects, etc.. Just remember the trademark thing as well. If you need another example of that, my avatar's trademark is his scarf and pilot's goggles. Now with that in mind, I would give your avi a 4/10. I'm sorry if you don't like my rating but maybe you should be more specific with your clothing choices.

Now Life in a tube... thats different......
I alrady have death in a tube, and it is nowhere near as good as death in a bottle of death in a can.
