Did [the hotel staff] do any of the following:
1.) Attempt to charge you more than the con rate for 4 people in a room?
2.) Tell you that you had to be 21 or over to book a room?
3.) Attempt to charge you more than the con rate for Thursday or Sunday nights?
Well we heard the complaints, and we were none to happy about it... so we gave a nice ring to Hotel Senior Management, and used a few selective coarse words... and fixed it.
If you have had any of the above problems, CALL the Sheraton World Resort (that damn internet thing never works for them and our rate) and inform them that you want whatever they did wrong corrected, if they give you a hard time, ask for a registration supervisor.
If you still are getting a hard time, I want to know. E-mail me directly at chair@jacon.org, with details and a contact number I can call you with any follow-up. Remember to get the registration person's name... that makes it really easy to get to the bottom of any problems.
I want to apologize to anyone that might have gotten the run around from our host hotel, and I hope this will solve any of those problems.
