Personally when Im painting, I perfer Mixed Media. I usually mix acrylics with poster paints, and I occasionally add wodden raises to make the art literly stand out.

I don't really like paint that much. But, when I do try, I usually use water colour... Though really it'll depend what I'm painting.
Personally, I prefer sketching and doodling. With a pencil, so long as it doesn't have a rough end and isn't mechanic. I'm fine with those ones that are filled with little leads that you just take out and put in the back when it's too dull. They're kind of nice, because they don't require a pencil sharpener.
If I colour, I tend to use markers or Sharpies. Occasionally pencil crayons or wax crayons.
So, you know, I'm pretty open to media type, so long as I can get what I want out of it.

I don't really paint either, but if I do happen to do so I'd say...Acrylic paint.

I prefer to use pencil and ink. If I decide to add colour, I use a mix of prisma colour art markers (which are expensive -.-) for the main part, then the prisma coloured pencils to touch it up. I suck at using paint. Expesially water colours -.-

Hmm, I mostly use pencils and pens. I'm not very good at the painting, but if I had to use them I'd be using oil paints.

Oil paint is really hard to get good at but it looks great for blending.
I like to paint and them go over it with black sharpie to make it stand out better.
