There is a saying our youth pastor once introduced us to a while back to us students:
''God does not call the equiped, He equips the call.''
Although it's a good thing to be genuinly willing and wanting to spread God's words, usually the best weay to do that is by example, rather than going up to people and just flat-out preaching the word out of the blue.
In other words, if God wants to move you to a place where He feels you can make a difference in someone's life, He will move you to that place.
But as far as this job is concerned, if you are not getting the pay that you need and you are worried that the manager does not like you, then it's time for you to stop kidding yourself and concider moving on. afterall, God would not want you in a place where you could not hold your own financially, and for you to fall into incapability to paying the bills and such forth, as far as that goes.
So, keep your eyes open for something else that is more you and you feel you can make more of a difference as an employeer. I'm not saying do not go in as a Christian, but as far as the work place goes, we as employees go to do a job and to do it well. When and if others see our devotion and love towards God and our Christianity shines best through bravery and faith through trial, selflessness, and genuine character, and not everyone is going to see that. But, some will.
Bottom line, move on and let God guide your path and don't worry so much of taking control, as far as He is concerened. But as far as your imeddiate choices--such as changing jobs for better pay--those are decisions you need to reflect on and take action for.
Prey and meditate about it...

NewFoundLight otay the problem is I have a job, and I ant to leave this job, and I want to quite, I know how that goes. XD NewFoundLight howeevr I feel as though I should stay for the sake of presenting the gospel to people there(which by the way I have an ungodly fear of doing), Do they want to hear it? I find that preaching to people who aren't interested in hearing about your faith tends to be counter-productive. My older sister used to be a lot more tolerant of Christians before her mother-in-law started trying to "covert" her for "the sake of the children". They aren't on speaking terms anymore and the kids only see their grandmother at Yule (Christmas). A better strategy to me would be to provide information and let them learn for themselves. ^.^ NewFoundLight and to top that off I have this new manager and she's like I think doesn't like me, Why? Is she hostile towards you? And is it possible that you are partly to blame for any hostility? Having had an Interpersonal Communication class, I find that most problems stem from a mutual source. ^.^ NewFoundLight and she's giving me like 8 hours, and I get paid 7.05( im a freaken colleg student I can't survive on that ). Pshaw. I worked two jobs and took full time classes when I was in college... ninja On topic: Then find a new job. Don't sacrifice your welfare simply for the sake of "toughing it out" or "converting the non-believers". There's plenty of time for that later. ^.^ NewFoundLight so yea I wanna leave, and go get a better job, but I think I should be about my father's business. sad So you are currently in your father's line of work? Even so, you shouldn't try to live in his shadow if you can better yourself. You can always go back into it later on if you feel the need.

NewFoundLight yes, it's a fast food joint, and im a bit slow, however I've meet her before and I think she doesn't like me for that same reason, and problably others. Ah, go ahead and find a better job (preferably before quitting; nothing is worse than looking for work while you are desperate). Fast food work is okay, but there are plenty of better things to do with your life. ^.^ As for her not liking you: there isn't much you can do about it. If it's her, then you can't fix it. NewFoundLight And as for my fathers business I was speaking about GOD, Christ was like i must be about my fathers business, you know help people sharing the gospel, and such. Okay, I get you now. Though I think it would be a help if you capitalized "Father" to clarify (or designated in some way that you were referring to YHWH). Have you thought about volunteering at a local church (or joining one/starting your own)? Then you could focus on your work while still doing your part for YHWH ("Give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's." Matthew 22:21). ^.^

You can leave the job if you want to. That will not stop you from spreading the word. Anyone can spread the word without it being their desinated job.
