Dir en Grey is scheduled to be the opening band for the reinvention of the Family Values Tour this summer.... the tour starts July 27
KoRn relaunches the Family Values tour in 2006
Family Values Tour 2006 will be headlined by Korn. This was the fourth Family Values Tour. Artist who will play at Family Values Tour 2006 will be Korn, Deftones, Stone Sour, Flyleaf, and Dir en grey. It will also feature a second stage with the bands TBA. Lawn seats will be only $9.99.

Although I am in Wisconsin, I don't want to go if they're only going to be like a 10 min. opening act for another band I don't really like.. I say they should do a regular tour, independant of other bands.

opeing bands are on for like an hour or so. if you really love them then you go to see them.

OMG!!!!!!!! What is the date and place for West palm beach Florida!??????? I must know!
I am close enough that if I am in florida on that date I can go! OMG! Please let it be before the 29th of july or after august 14th!
I will be incredibly sad if I cannot go!

chi! the whole thing starts at 1pm and goes for almost 12 hours. since there's only like 7 bands playing mainstage, there's no way they could only have a 10 minute set. either way, it's worth the money

man the tickets were alot of money. i hope that dir en grey sing stuff from older albums cause i dont want to just hear stuff from the new album. sweatdrop

They are expensive. But. .. . . . .. . . I bought one anyways!!!! twisted I am going to be skipping school that day to go to the concert near where I live. My sister and mother are going to go with me, even though they dont really like diru, they arae there for the other bands. My ticket cost nearly $70.

I said this in another thread, but I don't like how they've been selling out and trying to sound like american bands lately. I also don't like how they're trying to leach their popularity off of other american bands by touring with them either.

I also don't like how they're trying to leach their popularity off of other american bands by touring with them either. I agree in part. . .. . .but so many japanese bands want to be american. Fine they can go all crappy. But for some bands, to tour with american bands, they will get a bit more noticed and seen first and then be able to make it well on their own. Its a way for them to get out there without failing outright.
