This thread contains information on characters that have been approved for use in the Castlevania RPG. It will remain read-only for use as reference by myself and any other players who are active in the RPG and need to find out more information about the characters.

I will be gathering information from the signup thread and emails I have received. If there is any mistake, please notify me.

Approved characters may be re-used in any future Castlevania RPGs I host, or hosted by someone else if they approve the use of such in their RPG. I might ask for additional details if they are used in a new RPG I host.

I will add additional details for the dice-rolling system.

Created by: KoruKinshi
Status: CVRPG PC

Name: Koru Kinshi

Age: ??? (In the day of the RP approximately 316 years old)

Race: Human

Weapon: Divinely blessed and enchanted diamond katana, plus his own inborn abilities to fight and channel ki.

Bio: Koru descends from a long line of guardians. His family name is the name of the clan which has defended the earth from chaos. Three millenia back, the first guardian, Ritenku was bestowed this power by the heavens. In a battle once though, with an embodiment of chaos, he was unable to control his power, and it destroyed him. Over the course of time, every 400-500 years, a new guardian was born. Each guardian had immortality against age, yet each time, the same embodiment of chaos would destroy the current guardian.
Time had thinned the line down to a very few, and Koru was in line, unbenowknst to his family, to be guardian. An attempt was made on the life of his father, successfully, but a mistake was made in that Koru was the guardian, not his dad. Eventually he found out over the years of the past of his ancestors and what he was destined to do. Now, being the last of his family and his entire clan, he strives to settle the score once and for all.

Desc: Koru can be hurt by physical damage. Yes he heals a bit quicker than normal people, but he can still be killed. The catch it his body will reheal itself quickly once his soul returns to reclaim his body, hence a different type of immortality. He developed an affinity for fire and can heal from it and grow stronger, though ice, and the cold will weaken him greatly. Koru's weakness lies in his soul. Should his spirit be hit directly, he will be hurt badly. Should it be destroyed, he will be dead. Should his soul be captured before it can reinhabit his body, well...he's stuck then.
Due to the divine nature of his powers, his blood is the equivalent of holy water in terms of affect to those with evil nature. It will burn them like acid. Also should vampirism taint his body, it would fight it back like an infection. Should something taint his soul, it's a completely different story, and will affect him.

Combat style: During this time period, he predominantly fights hand to hand. Due to the strengths imbued on his clan by the heavens millenia ago, he has the strength and capacity to fight such creatures hand to hand. His ki use hasn't fully developed, but he can use it when necessary. Also, due to the time period, he's only able to manipulate his ki into a fire-based form. The sword, on the other hand, is imbued with holy power. Has been since the first guardian way back when. Because of this, it's a bane against all creatures with dark powers, evil intent, and the undead. It can not harm those with holy powers, however against a normal person, it would act as a normal katana.
He has every intention of fighting these battles hand to hand, and use his blade only when necessary...or to kill his assailants.

Created by: Hypnocrown
Status: Quit

Name: Vishno DeRante
Gender: Male
Age: 30
Hair: Black
Eyes: Dark Brown
Body: Athletic & a bit muscular
Face: Vishno looks kinda like a mix between Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt. (If you can picture something like that cuz I can't.)
Height: 1.75
weight: 130 pounds

Occupation: Magic student turned Vampire Hunter.

Weapons: Enchanted "Holy" Chakram with Vampire homing capabilities (although if he concentrates, he can make the Chakram home in on a specific bunch of non-vampiric targets); a dagger made of Silver & a Cestus he rarely uses. One detail about his chakram is that if anyone attempts to steal the holy weapon, it goes off in an array of colors as well as some sort of alarm only the user can hear. They're in constant communication; that's how Vishno knows when and how to catch his chakram when he throws it so he doesn't get his hand sliced off.

Known spells: A lightning bolt creating spell that can either damage targets in the lightning ball's path or, momentarily charge a blade like weapon so it's attack can go up considerably. Also, he posesses knowledge of a teleport spell that works by concentrating on either a person or a place to be able to travel there. (I thought of this so if I can't come back to the guild to continue the RP, the character can teleport out and come back later as I do. Clever huh?) There is one more but, it's not really worth mentionin it for now...

Back info: He was raised by his mother in a village that accepted having a magician for protection. He never has known his father and the only thing he knows is that, according to his mother, he was a great warrior. Throughout his whole life, he was raised as a magician to be passed down with everything his mother knew about magic. But as time passed he discovered that magic wasn't his forte. True, he continued to study for a while but, after a very sad incident that involved people he cared about, he decided to stop and focus his abilities in things he could be the best at. Like his father before him, he developed quite well in hand to hand combat but, before he could leave home, his mother entrusted him with the family heirloom. A Holy Chakram passed down from generation to generation. After he began his journey, he found out that his old man was actually a vampire hunter and so now he became one as well. Time passed and he met a bright woman heading for a castle and, after helping her defeat the evil one, he now wonders the world seeking others who may need his help. He somehow found his way here...

Chakarm colors:
Red = This color usually represents immediate danger to the user and those close to him/her. The brighter the color, the closer the danger is. It is mostly used when the nature of the danger is unknown or if it has some connection with the user's quest.
White = This color usually represents something unknown that is about to occur. This color could also represent a reaction to a status change of the user and the chakram attempts at healing it. Sometimes it can just be used to light up a dark room or cave.
Black = This color is rarely used, as it symbolizes a traitor near the user and nothing else. As with the "Red" color, the more intense it is the sooner the traitor is about to reveal him or herself.
Green = This color is used when a friend is approaching or in need of asistance and is not far away. As with the "Red", the intensity tells the user of the target's distance. It also can have a section of it to point the way to the target.
Brown = This color is used when trying to find people buried alive or alike.
Gold = This one is rarely used except to find hidden, useful things. Those can vary from keys to treasure, depending on the situation and the mood of the user.
Orange = This color is usually meant to represent a safe place or some kind of healing item available nearby. The chakram itself can be used as a compass like with the colors green, brown & gold to detect the place or item easily.
Blue = This one is often used by the user to find spellcasters or opponents that are spellcasters themselves. This is always useful in dark or maze like places. The user is required to concentrate for the which kind of target the chakram is to look for, weather friend or foe.
Pink = ??? (rarely used)
Violet = If anyone thinks of the user's chakram while far away, it will tell the user that a person (most likely a friend who has had the chakram in his/her possesion for a while) wants to talk to the user and the chakram will begin to glow violet.
Gray = This one is only used when the chakram itself has been through enough damage so it need a recharge. At first it will glow in a dim gray shade but, as its user kills monsters with it and the chakram absorbs their souls, it recharges and glows brighter. It only needs a small ammount to fully recharge but once it does, it returns to normal (As in not glowing any colors in particular).

Created by: Lady Lunar Phoenix
Status: CVRPG PC

Name: Tarot

Age: 16

Height: 5'7

Weight: First Rule of Girl Club. NEVER ASK OUR WEIGHT!

Weapon: Inner born magik channeled through her Tarot deck.

Bio: She works as a vampire hunter in training... Only cuz she sucks at being a nun. The closest she's got is one of her cards. She lives and works at the church since well, who wants a magik user around? Really? So she hunts down small and less powerful monsters as part of her training. Since she's not going Joan of Arc she wears dresses and lady like stuff. Well for the most part she dresses in robe like gowns. The sleeves reach mid arm with long cloth draped down from it by about 5 inches. The dress part has slits and pants under it with a cloak.
She has black hair that reaches about her waist but she ties it up with about five ribbons all the way down. In part in case she needs something to tie something up with. She wears lady like but thick boots in the event that she goes tromping around wooded areas. Her deck stays in a small bag at her side or in her hands. She also has two. One that she battles with and one that her spirit guides use to talk to her with. Celtic for battles Egyptian for guidence...
Ok so shes' a type of spiritualist... But to keep the hot stakes away she'll say she works for the church. She's a ditz not a dummy.

Created by: Lost_Realms
Status: Quit

Name: Jade Reinhardt Delacroix
Hair: reddish down to a upper middle back
Eyes: blue
Occupation: Performer in the Blackstar Performance Company, writer, artist, part time private eye(when she feels like it)
Main weapon: Spear
Seconday weapon: Bow + Arrows
Magic: Healing magic
Bio: Long separated from her brother, Er Li Belmont (relation to actual Belmonts unknown) and her other friends because everyone has gone on with his/her own life, Jade is a member of the travelling Blackstar Performance Company. Back when they were young, her friends and her had been interested in the stories of vampires and demons, and for fun had deemed themselves as children the saviors of the world if they ever came into contact with anything. Hearing of the recent strange occurrences, Jade's memories of her childhood play were revived, and she feared for the worst that the situation is actually real this time. A direct attack on the Transylvanian town that she was staying in wakes her up and as she joined the villagers to fight off the creatures, she knew that someone had to fight back the vampire's forces. Casulaties were many. Humans were dragged off into the darkness of the forests screaming for help, but unable to be saved. Wanting to share the "fun" and slightly shaky, she sent a message to her friends, and meanwhile headed off to search for clues. Jade hadn't fought in a while, but she was determined and so, she took up the role of being a vampire hunter... to stop the atrocities occuring.
Skills(just to elaborate): Being a performer, Jade is rather flexible and lithe. One could say that she is just as well an offensive or a defensive fighter, but seeing that she has healing magic, I'd rather say that she's defensive. Her healing magic simply includes healing wounds. She can't revive people...obviously. Jade has pretty good aim with her bow and arrows and is ok with the spear. There's always room for improvement for her.
Other info: Jade does not like to perform in front of others even though she is in the performance company. She enjoys writing and drawing and sometimes a private eye in her free time for fun. She doesn't like water.

Created by: Sirenstoy
Status: Abandoned

Name: Edvard Von Hulen
Hair: Dark brown-black with hints of red
Eyes: Brownish black
Age: 18
Occupation: Nobleman of fortune
Main weapon: Rapier made from blessed steel
Seconday weapon: Aspergillum filled with holy water ( It sprinkles holy water, looks like a flail with holes in the ball of it)
Magic: Bestial Blessings ( taking on certain traits of animals. i.e.: Ox: strength, Owl:wisdom, Dog: loyalty and so on...)
Personal secret: He is a consecrated priest

Bio: The last living son in a long line of nobles of the Von Hulen clan, Edvard is a quiet young man with a gentle smile and a roguish outlook. His family has always been tied deeply with it's surroundings and many animals flock to the Von Hulens from the forest, following them for days on end, occasionally sharing kills with the nobles. Edvard now rules his lands kindly in a far corner of what was once called Germania, the Holy Roman Empire, and so on and so forth. He is a just ruler who protects his people as well as he can. However, one night, the animals from the forest began acting strangely. The wolves would not howl, the owls would not hunt, the whole forest seemed to be silent. After three nights of this, Edvard took up his father's sword, Vanguard, and headed into the night. He took a priest and three of his closest hearth companions. Along the paths and trails, they found remains of horribly mutilated animals, as well as the missing guard they'd thought had left town. Then, all at once, a beautiful woman appeared. But she wasn't right. She had batlike wings and eyes that glowed like embers. A battle was joined that left Edvard scarred and the preist wounded. The woman had been a succubus. Coming back after a time of rest, Edvard and his priest came home to find all the men of the village slain in their sleep. Edvard left soon after things returned to normal, his sword on his hip and the church's Aspergillum tucked into his things as his carriage rode off to the fabled place of darkness. He wished to find what had loosed the succubus in his lands and a scroll he'd found in his library told of an old castle in " The land between the woods" Transylvania...

He was a student of the preist's. But He was still a noble and as such, became a sort of spiritual leader as well as the titled ruler of those under his care. He wished to keep in the interests of the people by becoming something of an example to live by. Sure, it sound segomaniacal, but it was because he had read tale of things that go 'bump' in the night. He wished to protect his people against demons, etc... All those things that were a common hysteria of the time, yet only talked about in hushed conversations. The preist dubbed him the title of journyman ( It sounds dumb, I admit...only thing I can think of) and advised him to 'go with God", if you will.

The carriage rolled on into the darkness as Edvard planned to end the troubles of his people...

Created by: J-PiPe
Status: Dead

Name: Jared Bartholomew Vehit

Height: 7'1

Weight: 247

Hair color: Brown, medium-long, pony-tailed hair

Eye color: Gold

Age: ???

Weapon: Gauntlet of J - special attack is a five hit combo, three attacks being jabs with the left arm, a straight punch with the right, and an uppercut with the left again.

Sub weapons: Cross and Sacred Fist (Sacred Fist more prefered) (also can perform the item crashes with them. the Sacred Fist crash is the Fist combined with the Summon book making Asura)

Magic: (more of being skills actually, the skills are used with the gauntlet, but they still use MP.)
-Mach Punch- repeatitly punches with the right arm at great speed (looks like Alucard's special with certain punch weapons in SOTN)
-Sword of Pride- a wave of energy is created and thrown at the enemies (meant to be a projectial weapon, so it does less damage than his regular attacks if the target or targets are far away)

Strength and Weakness: basically, he falls under the fighting class but boasts in being strong and evasive instead of being strong and defensive. without having so much weight as armored warriors, he puts up quite a fight, dodging enemies attacks and then breaking them with a straight punch to the chest or wherever their weakspot, being able to take down most lesser enemies in only a few blows. his only real problem is he isn't able to defend as well against magical enemies as against enemies with melee attacking.

Bio: A wandering monk of the modern age, wearing a trenchcoat, fadora, white shirt, black pants, and a strange unremovable gauntlet on his right arm, which was rumored to be made from dark arts. He travels to the land where the dark lord's castle rose again on the request of his friend, a priest of the newly started Hibuka Temple, to make sure that nothing could stand in the way of their teachings, but Jared seems to have his own intentions on going, which are unknown to everyone but him and one significant other who is said to dwell in the newly risen castle...

Created by: Amyante
Status: CVRPG PC

Name: Raine Stormgate (real name: Scylla Naradiel)

Height: 6'3"

Weight: 149 pounds

Hair color: Light blue (azure), down to the small of her back in length. She also has a small braid on the left side.

Eye color: Royal blue.

Age: 23

Appearance: She looks like an attractive female. With purplish skin. And slightly elongated teeth. Casting dark magic, even. o.O

Of course, that's all perfectly hidden under an illusionary appearance, so if your character even pretends to know on sight what she looks like under that illusion of hers i'll hang you from Dracula's Castle by your dingle-dangles, and treat you as a punching bag ^_^.

Weapon(s): Frostflame and Souldrinker, dual wielded.
- Frostflame: This sword has an ice enchantment on it that deals additional cold damage on a hit. Also, the special hilt it has stops the cold enchantment from spreading to the wielder's hands, which prevents them from getting numb. Provided, of course, she can find someone to cast the spell on it for her wink . Living creatures are vulnerable to this added effect.

- Souldrinker: The other sword is of a darker nature. It has the added effect of draining its victims of their soul energy, and uses it to refill its wielder's health and mana pool. Which is particularly important in Raine's case, since her Curse would otherwise limit her only source of healing to Dark Metamorphosis. Magically created constructs (golems, most Undead) are vulnerable to this added effect, since it drains the magical energy from the enchantments that literally hold them together.

Sub weapons: Agunea.

Magic:
-Dark Metamorphosis- Heal by touching blood (not necessarily from enemies razz ).

Strength and Weakness: Raine's strength is also her weakness. Having been bitten by the vampire Dimilas, she has become Tainted (think of it as being permanently Cursed). She has gained the ability to cast the same dark magic a vampire is capable of, yet at the cost of not being able to use holy items, which tend not to discriminate between her and (other) demons and vampires.

Bio: Raine was born as Scylla Naradiel, the only child of two rangers living on the outskirts of a small village. Life proceeded normally for the small family: Being the only child due to a complication during childbirth, Scylla was brought up with the skills generally associated with rangers: Various wlderness survival skills, as well as herbalism, to be able to identify various poisonous herbs, and counter their effects with others. For some reason, she wasn't talented in ranged combat, but she more than made up for it in close combat, her ability to wield two swords matched only by her father.

Like in most forested areas, there had been the tale of the occasional missing traveler, or livestock disappearing. The town's population usually blamed it on wolves or bears, the local farmers would walk a couple of extra rounds on their land for a few days, until the rumors subsided and the cycle began anew.

This time, however, it was different. A lone survivor of a merchant's guards covered in blood, screaming that the night had come to life as he ran into the village. Corpses all arranged neatly in a row, with not a drop of blood to be seen. It was clear something was raiding the countryside, and the signs that were left were enough to convince even the most stubborn farmer to keep his doors locked.

Not long afterwards, several young girls had gone missing, some even from houses in the center of the village, and the first group of vampire hunters arrived, drawn to the rumor like moths to a flame. Most did not return. The few that did, confirmed the people's suspicions that a vampire was indeed the cause of the village's problems. A meeting was held, and when Scylla's father returned home from it, he had found his wife knocked unconscious on the floor, and his daughter missing.

--==**==--

Scylla awoke with a start, wincing as the sparse light that came in through the dungeon's bars blinded her for a second. Her head still throbbed, and she could remember little besides recieving a rather nasty blow to the head from behind. This worried her, since whoever had done it had managed to sneak up on her quetly enough to escape her notice...

The smell of old blood registered to her senses now, and she looked around, seeing more of the same cells. Most were empty, save for one or two, and the inhabitants of those did little else than stare at the wall in shock. The cell next to hers held a red-headed woman -- Scylla recognised her as the local miller's daughter -- and it was her that explained everything that had been going on.

Much to her surprise, it seemed a vampire had taken up residence in an old Keep, posing as a member of an old, if relatively small, noble house dating back to a time most did not even remember. It had turned out to be responsible for the missing travellers, and had started to leave hints of it's presence -- some less subtle than others -- out of boredom, arrogance, or both. The vampire hunters had proven a nice distraction for it, but the girls currently in the cells were considered the main course.

One every night, the red-headed girl explaigned, resignation and acceptance clear in her manner and voice, and no one knew who would be next. Occasionally, the 'supply', as the vampire had called it, was renewed with fresh youths from the nearby villages, and the vampire had always waited until they discovered the truth for themselves, sometimes being the one to tell them in person.

The next day, she was gone, and from the tracks left behind it had been clear she did not manage to escape. Fighting back tears, she sat down, and waited. Waited, hoping someone would come to their aid. A week passed like this, food brought to her cell by the vampire as he checked his food supply in turn.

The vampire was not unattractive. Appearing as a middle-aged man, wearing a uniform-style blue tunic and pants, with black boots and an embroidered black cloak around his shoulders. The other girls kept their eyes pinned to the floor, knowing that the smallest hint of defiance would increase their chances at being 'chosen', but not Scylla. She had glared at her captor, wishing every time he would be close enough for her to smack that annoying smile off of his face.

That night, she awoke not in her cell, but in a small room. Opposite of it, sitting in a chair as if it was a throne, sat the vampire, as always that grin plastered on his face. Before she could get a chance to act, he spoke up.

- "You get a five minute head start. Run."

The vampire had gotten bored of the usual feeding routine, and added the hunt as an afterthought. His food would get a small head start, and he'd hunt his prey to find at least some amusement in it. Most of them had already given up before starting however, which is why he tended to choose stronger-willed women to try to increase the challenge from 'painfully absent' to 'easy'. He watched the clock as his target slipped out the door.

Five minutes passed, and he got up, deliberately not tracking her by scent or using his other powers... It was easy enough as it was. He had double-checked the bolts and locks on the doors and windows, and as his quarry would have found out by now, there was no way out. So he walked through the Keep, moving at a casual pace while his eyes scanned the area for tracks.

An annoyed look crossed his face when he spotted a part of Scylla's dress standing out behind the curtain a few minutes afterwards. It was soon replaced with a feral look however, as he already imagined sinking his teeth into the girl. He stalked over to the curtain, and violently pulled the curtain open with one hand.

A trap triggered, and his initial surprise at not seeing anyone was replaced by pain, as one of his own table knives embedded itself in his eye. He grabbed the knife, growling furiously as he pulled it out, but found himself staring at the bloodstained blade in his hand. As his eye started to regenerate, he started to grin. The grin turned into a chuckle, and the chuckle to laughter as it occurred to him: For the first time in decades, someone had managed to draw blood... To actually wound him! He threw the knife aside, and stepped out into the halls of his Keep with renewed vigor.

After several minutes of finding nothing, he finally came upon another one of his knives, this one lying in the main hall in plain view. It struck him as odd, and as he walked up, he could see the old bloodstains on the blade... It was the one he had carelessly discarded earlier! He had started to reach down to it to pick it up, as his ears noticed a familiar sound, that of a bowstring under pressure. Using his speed to step aside, he barely managed to avoid the arrow nicking him in the shoulder before it clattered onto the stone tiles behind him.

He watched as Scylla got out of her hiding place one floor above him and ran, the bow he had taken as a trophy from one of the vampire hunters slanted across her back. He rushed after her, up the stairs, around the corner where he knew she had been mere seconds earlier... and found his leg caught in a makeshift rabbit snare as he lost his balance, falling to the floor once more.

As he got up, he decided it had been enough. True, it had managed to rekindle the feeling having a challenge had felt like when he was still young, and it was rare for a human to force him to use his powers, but there were limits. The events that had befallen that night -- being wounded not once, but twice -- had exited him too much to keep holding back like he was now. He entered the Astral Plane, and effortlessly homed in on Scylla's spirit form, materialising right in front of her as she headed towards the front foor, grabbing her wrists to prevent her from running again.

His mouth opened wide, and he sank his teeth into Scylla's neck as the girl fruitlessly tried to pull herself free. With her hands unable to move, her kicks having no effect on the vampire and it trying to eat her shoulder, she did the only thing she could do. She returned the favor, by biting down on his shoulder as hard as she could. As the metallic taste of blood filled her mouth, she thought she heard the vampire give an enticed grunt.

At that moment, the door broke open, and a number of vampire hunters led by Scylla's parents ran in. The vampire, recognising the hunters for what they were, quickly retreated to a more defendable position as the majority of the hunters chased him.

--==**==--

It had been a month since the incident, and Scylla's father had died in the raid that freed his daughter. Even though the death of the vampire was never confirmed, both the killings and abductions appeared to have ended with the attack, so people assumed what was likely and tried to shrug off the uneasy feeling with a few pints of ale before heading back to their usual lives. Scylla, however, was denied that right.

What she had believed to be a slight discoloration of her skin due to the shock, had actually proven itself to be a mutation of some kind. Even though the now slightly purplish color of her skin could still be hidden easily enough, when the black stumps that would become her wings started to form on her shoulder blades, both her and her mother knew it wouldn't be a passing thing. Her mother dug up the old letter the vampire hunters had left her and her husband, and she gave it to Scylla, for her to use as a letter of introduction into the Order of the Winter's Dawn, one of the guilds for vampire hunters in the land. To protect her family, she changed her name to Raine Stormgate when she left.

As she joined the Order, the priests working among their ranks quickly found out that even the strongest Uncurse spells were ineffective against the one placed on her. After the Elders had had a series of particularly heated meetings on the matter that had left the lower ranking members walking softly for weeks afterward, Raine was called before them. They explained to her about that she had been Tainted, and the only way to fully cure her was to defeat the vampire that had been responsable for her Tainting. It had also been decided that the knowledge of what Raine was would not be leaving the walls of the council.

In time, several of her vampiric abilities had started to manifest, both during the battles with rogue vampires and regular combat training. One of them was the power of illusion -- for which Raine was particularly grateful, since it enabled her to hide her demon-infected body behind the appearance of a normal untained woman. Her armor, restricted to non-Blessed materials, could be described as 'cloth robes reinforced with leather straps', but on the other hand she had found some basic ability to cast magic and several other vampire-associated traits, although progress is mostly on a trial-and-error basis with no true vampires willing to teach her.

And the vampire? Unknown by her, it still stalks Raine as its prey, considering her marked by his hand. Whatever the case, he found he hadn't had this much fun playing with his food in centuries...

--==**==--

The Order had quickly learned of Dracula's Castle having returned, mostly due to the meteoric rise in monster sightings -- and attacks -- that plagued the Transsylvanian countryside. Together with a number of her fellow Guildmembers, Raine made her way over to the area, encountering heavy resistance along the way. After Dimilas dropped a few signs that he was in the area -- usually by tearing apart the lookouts without disturbing the camp -- Raine knew he was in the area. And with him, the chance of her humanity being restored.

Pics (added again for good measure):

- Raine (minus the wings and tail)
- Raine (with active illusion, and wearing her usual robes)

- Frostflame (Raine's ice-enchanted sword)
- Souldrinker (Raine's soul stealing sword)
- Order of Dawn emblem (worn as a necklace)

- Dimilas (front, with cloak)
- Dimilas (back, without cloak)

Ethnicity: Free Afro-american

Gender: M

Height: 5'8

Weight: 130 pounds

Hair color: Black

Eyes: He's blind

Age: 57

Weapon: White cane

Weapon characteristics: His cane was made from an Aztec holy tree and houses the playful spirit of an Aztec local deity. For some reasons, the village near which the tree was cut was hit by diseases and floods the following years, but whatever. Its main purpose is for guiding him, due to his condition of being blind. The spirit housed in his cane, however, sometimes like to play tricks on him, such as making weird sounds, but he seems rather nice and never put his user's life into danger. The cane itself seems to have been done with a good, though simple, craftmanship, but ever since it's been completed and Richard came into its possession, it seems it never chipped or showed any sign of wear.

Bio: Richard West lived a simple, happy life with his wife and his 6 sons and daughters working on their field in a small town in the US. His own family was slaughtered in the night, leaving only himself alive. While the blame was officially put on a serial killer which was hanged after a very quick trial, Richard knew better. He felt them. Their smell and the horrible sounds they made couldn't have been done by humans or animals. He then vowed that he'd spend the remainder of his life to find and hunt those foul beasts regular people thought as mere dreams, but which were much more real than what they could ever wish for.

Name: Heero

Bio: Heero hailed from what was once the Town of Xenia. in this town he had been born into a cursed fate that his family had shared for many years, and that was to be the Vessel for Death, the servant of Count Dracula. his fore-father. Quatre was the first of the line to become Deaths Vessel. and with that, his family had been forced to carry out Deaths will and orders, however when Heero's father, who was to become the next vessel, fled with his wife Dianna to escape his fate and settled in the town of Xenia which was far beyond the borders of Transylvania. however Dracula would not allow the Vessel of Death to roam freely, and in the middle of the night had his minions lay waste to the entire town and killed off everyone but Heero, Dracula's simple response to killing his family was that his "Father had denied his fate and paid with his life for passing his fate onto his pitiful son" the night before he was taken to the altar to become Deaths Vessel he conjured up a forbidden spell that had been known by his family for generations, the power to lock away ones soul and mind in a piece of jewelery. taking his necklace that was created by his father he enchanted the words and using the Onyx embedded within it, sealed away his soul and mind and became a shell...when the Rite of Accession was preformed Death had taken possession over Heeros body. however unknown to Dracula Heero had sealed away his mind and soul, preventing Death from controlling him, soon after Dracula handed him the Scythe which was the only thing keeping Death in the world of the living. and tasked him to find souls for the Dark Priest Shaft to carry out his unholy rituals however when Heero left he never returned, Dracula having suspicions sent out Gaibon to look for Heero and when they reported back finding nothing Dracula became enraged and demanded that Heero be found and brought back to him. Ever since Heero left Dracula's castle on the "Task" he was given he had gone into hiding to sharpen his skills with using the Scythe, and learning the hard way that even with the seal, Deaths power can and will consume him if they are used...several years have passed and after months of training Heero is now ready to embark to Dracula's Castle with not only the purpose of ridding himself of his cursed fate, but to destroy Dracula for the death of his family and friends...and destroy the very thing that bounds Death to the world of the living...his Scythe

Appearance: He is about average height, with long Silver hair that flows down just past his shoulders, his cold silver eyes easily reflect his lack of emotions. but sometimes the icy cold stare can be broken and his emotions can show, but it has rarely happened in his life time, he wears the Robes of Death (this was too required by the vessels to wear) he wears dark pants and wears what appear to be casual shoes, though they've seen better days.

Battlestyles: Despite the huge size of Deaths Scythe, Heero is capable of wielding it with extreme ease. and is also surprisingly fast with it. his favorite move is to throw the Scythe like a boomerang and catch it while in mid-air or simply catch it as it returns to him. being Deaths Vessel he holds power over some of Deaths powers, but only to be used at the cost of his health and maybe even his life, of the powers he has, he is able to create smaller scythes and hurl them, create a barrier of darkness that can protect him, create pillars of light that burst from underneath his foes, and the ability to Invoke Death. by invoking death he can kill his opponent on the spot by simply uttering a few words to bring about their death, however using this power costs Heero a great deal of his life and because of this, he has rarely used his power to invoke death. with each use of his powers his life is slowly consumed and the darkness within him grows and Deaths soul becomes stronger, because of this he refuses to use his powers unless he has no choice but to use them.

Name: Spike Vardos

Age: Appears 23 but is over 2300 years old.

Race: Mystic (kinda want to put sinistral of sacredness but i decide not to.)

Weapon of choice: Sword. Spike wields a sword that he forged himself and fused it with magical powers, he dubs it Sacred Blade.

Magic: Spike uses sacred magic and various other elemental magic. He also has a ability to transform into three forms. Guard, Chronos and Drago.

History: Spike lived for thousands of years living a new life. During the crusades, he lived a life of a warrior named Lithri Levash, and was married to a woman named Catlin Sheridan. Although he fought also side Mathias Cronquivst and Leon Belmont during the battles in the crusades, he was part of a secret order called the Crimson Flame, which is dedicated to upholding the balance of magic. He was given the task of killing Mathias when he was bed ridden after his wife Elisabetha died from illness when he was away on a expeditions. But Death stopped Spike, and told him that he knows that Spike is not human and should not interfere with his master's plans. Spike left peacefully but not before telling Death, to warn his master not to harm anyone close to him(Spike), lest he with face the wrath of a mystic. Soon after Spike's beloved with kill in front of his eyes by a evil demon who had no connection with Dracula, Spike killed the demon and buried his dead wife and wandered the world learning different fighting moves and hearing of the war between Dracula and the humans. Upon heading home he found that a close friend of his was turned into a vampire by Dracula, Spike was forced to slay his friend and vows to hunt Dracula down.

Spike's sword has a compulsion enchantment which prevents people other than Spike and others it finds worthy from wielding it. It can unleash bolts of holy power which damages creatures weak against holy. The sword also glows a faint blue when demons are very close.
Spike's holy magic includes the ability to heal minor wounds and scrying objects for curses, plus a holy flame spell that only burns creatures weak against holy. His elemental magic includes ice prison which traps the target in a cage made of ice which shatters and injures the target. Firebird which summons a large bird made of fire which flies straight ahead burning anything vulnerable to fire across its path. Lightning Blade is a spell which charges Spike's sword with the power of lightning to electrocute the enemy, and lastly Earthen Spirit which summons a small imp like creature that searches hidden passages in the immediate area.

His three forms have their unique appearances, strengths, and weaknesses along with powers. Each form lasts 20 minutes or until dispelled. One of these forms can only be used once per day due to the exertion they cause to his body. He must rest for at least 6 hours of sleep before attempting to change his body again. Attempting a second transformation without rest might not succeed. In case of succeeding, it will be less powerful, last 10 minutes, and affect his health; his appearance will change only partially as well.

Guard gives Spike the appearance of an armored figure whose eyes can only be seen. This form increases Spike defense but cripples his speed because of the armor and is weak against lightning, heat, and blunt weapons which crack the armor. Spike can't use magic in this form and must rely on his sword.

Chronos gives Spike a slightly monstrous appearance where his face is partially covered in metallic scales and his eyes glow yellow. In this form his speed is increased due to the armor being slender but lacks defense. While in this form, Spike can time-freeze some lesser foes and some moving objects for 5 seconds.

Drago turns Spike's skin appearance into dragon scales, gives him bulkier muscles making him stronger, and makes dragon-like wings sprout from his back, allowing him flight. In this form he is weak against ice magic, and vulnerable to strong winds while flying. He is also limited to brute strength, and no weapons nor magic. With this form Spike can breathe fire and lift heavy objects.
