Before you use your gems and stones for magick, you should charge them to match your intent. Bless them with the four elements, then hold the gem or stone in your hand. Rub the stone lightly between the fingers of your dominant hand then place the stone or crystal on you third eye and say:
"In the names of the Lord and Lady ( or deity of your choice ), I conjure thee, oh stone of Earth, to assist me in my magickal working. By the moon and sun, the planets and the stars, may you be blessed and empowered to ( Your intent here ). So Mote it Be. "

Does Tigers-eye have any other uses? Anyone know, cuz i just got a necklace with a huge piece of Tigers-eye on it, from a friend who went to England.

I have that problem soooo much...it took me and cleaning lady together (she worked vigorously, so I did the same and barely kept up) 4 hours to make my room look decent...I kind of like it like that though.

Also remember that some "common stones" such as nice river stones and the like can be just as wonderful as crystals.

I have a rather good book at home on crystals and such too. I think it's called The Crystal Bible or something along those lines. It's got information on sooooo many, the info varying from what their uses are to their variants to where to position them for the best effect. I'll find it when I'm at home and put the name of it here. One of the best presents I got for my 18th. 3nodding
