Getbackers and Saiyuki are two of my All-time favorite Anime shows and/or manga. I was thinking, Why not make a fic out of it? Here are some reasons:
1.) The characters are so alike, Think: Ban is kinda like a 2-in-one package of Sanzo and Gojyo, While Ginji is similar to Hakkai and Goku.
2.) Practically the entire youkai (demon) population in Saiyuki is going after Sanzo's scriptures (and throat). So...What if the scriptures got stolen? Who'll get it back? (Obviously, Sanzo would, but what if it got too difficult?) DANDADADANDADA!!! Ginji and Ban!
3.) Gojyo could finally get a real love interest in the person of Hevn or Himiko. XP Poor Ban.
4.) I already started on it!
I'd love ideas! Please don't hesitate to give me some!

GetBackers + Gensomaden Saiyuki = good anime cross-over
both anime are half serious and half comedy, some character have same traits. Akabane will be interested with Sanzo.

Akabane vs Sanzo? That would be a good fight scene idea. Ginji would panic. (No yaoi here, please!)

Ligah Akabane and Sanzo? That would be a good fight scene idea. Ginji would panic. (No yaoi here, please!) Huh? I did not mean that Akabane will pair with Sanzo O_o My point is Akabane will be interested because Sanzo is strong and Akabane likes strong characters.

i felt that akabane would be more interested in Hakkai and Goku....Goku is kind of similiar to Ginji...both of them are stong and have hidden abilities that are yet to be discovered.....Hakkai on the other hand is more like Akabane...his past and his smile really resembles Akabane at a lot of times....it is very hard to figure both Hakkai and Akabane out...
Gojyo and Ban will likely be fighting everyday..... sweatdrop :sweat

Everyone in the Getbackers universe will be watching. Who should Shido support, Ban or Hakkai? Well, Shido is still one of the good guys in the story.

eagerly waiting for the next issue to come out......i really hope to see Ginji fighting Kougaji....wait...i have another question...??Is Kougaji caming alone?or his gang is coming along too...but even so....if is quite not fair for Kougaji and his gang as it is 4 against 6...........wonders....what is the outcome later.... 3nodding
