Zhou Tai stood just outside of Sun Ce's chambers. He was his body guard, and swore to protect him with is life. Zhou Tai was proud of Sun Ce, he had done so much for Wu. Aside from that, Zhou Tai did not say a word, nor moved a muscle. He seemed a stature standing there.

Matsukaze had been running for days on end. On his back rode Keiji Maeda, who seemed rather relaxed considering that they have been lost in this land for some time now. "Ahh, I guess we should find some place to stay, eh, Matsukaze?" The horse neighed and clopped his way toward the south east. After a few hours of traveling they came upon some strange city. There were soldiers dressed in red and red banners with "Wu" painted on them in a language that Keiji didn't understand. He approached the gate and the soldiers immediately held him up with spears, threatening to stab him if he wanted to start something.
"I just wanted a place to stay..." He said in Japanese. The soldiers looked at each other with wonder, they had never heard this language before and they didn't know what to make of it. They saw his impressive weapon and figured that he was a powerful warrior, all the more reason to keep an eye on him. "Please, my horse is tired and I could use some food." He pleaded in his foreign language. His tone was not a threatening one so the soldiers lowered their spears. They opened the gate for him and let him in, but they made sure to send a few men to follow him and make sure he didn't start anything. He rode in and found what looked like a stable. He tied up his horse and grabbed a large mound of hay for him to chew on. "Good, Matsukaze, I think that we will like it here. I just wish that I could understand these people."

Sun Ce sat in his chambers, still slightly ill from his previous sickness, but suddenly he was feeling a whole lot better. He stood up and walked to his door. Just then a messenger came to his door and knocked. Ce opened the door and the messenger bowed and said, "My lord, there is news of a strange foreigner with gold hair and a large horse and weapon. He didn't attack us but we need to see what he wants. Unfortunately none of us speak his language. What should we do?"
Ce thought on this for a moment and said, "Well, let's go meet 'im! Zhou Tai, it's good to see your still here. I will need you to come with us. You went across the eastern sea once, right? You should be able to understand his language at least a little bit, right?" Ce was excited to meet one of these foreigners that he was hearing so much about.

Zhou Tai bowed to his lord. "Yes my lord... once," he said. He could still remember his journey there. He was so confused at the way they spoke. It was so fast pace compared to Chinese, and there were alot of angry warriors there... or at least they seemed angry. Zhou Tai did learn a little of the language, but since he never had to speak it here, he feared he may have forgotten too much. Nevertheless, he did like their sake, their wemon, and the people seemed to be content with their lives. Not to mention, that is where he got his sword and technique from.

"Good, good..." Ce said as he lead the way down the hallway, "Let's go check it out!" He walked out of the castle and made his way toward the gate. There he asked a soldier where this new warrior was and the soldier pointed toward the horse stable. Ce walked to the stable and looked inside to see a very large man standing there talking in a foreign tongue to an impressive looking horse. "Hey, big guy! What're you doing all the way down here in Wu?" He asked in a semi-commanding tone.
Keiji turned around and looked at the young man standing before him. He was dressed in elegant red armor and had a strange fire to his eyes. Keiji didn't understand a word he spoke, but figured that he was someone important. He pointed to his chest with his thumb and said, "Keiji Maeda." He then gestured to Sun Ce and opened his palm face up with a questioning look on his face.
"Keiji Maeda? Is that your name?" Ce said with wonder. It was a strange name, but he would expect that from someone from accross the sea. He pointed to his chest in the same mannor and said, "Sun Ce." He smiled and thought, He doesn't seem hostile, but he looks really strong. I should definitely try to make friends with him. "Hey, Tai, can you say anything to him? We need to figure out how to communicate with him."

((I'll play Zhou Yu and Xiao Qiao for the time being until someone wants either of them. Oh, and I had one of the longest posts of all time, but guess what? Gone...))
Zhou Yu awakened in his regal bed, and noticed a firm weight on top of him. It was his beautiful bride Xiao Qiao, she had gotten up earilier and 'went' back to sleep sprawled on Zhou Yu. Yu grunted trying to lift her petite frame without distrubing her from her slumble. Xiao Qiao opened a eye, and quickly shut it as she felt herself pushed as if trying to be moved. She knew that she was on Zhou Yu and had planned this for fun. She sprang up from her position quickly and Zhou Yu instantly sat up with the weight gone from his body. "Got you, Yu!" Qiao giggled in delight. Zhou Yu laughed at this and rolled to the side, spreading his feet over the side of the bed and jumped down. "Time to go Xiao, let us make our haste to see our Lord Sun Ce." he motioned her to go get dressed, since they were still wearing their robes for sleep. He walked into his closet and came out a couple of minutes later, ready for his job as cheif consultant to Sun Ce, his sworn brother. Xiao Qiao jumped off the bed and scrambled into her own closet, she took more time then her husband of course, she always wanted to look her best all the time, regardless of anything. She finally dressed and opened the closet door and saw Yu standing there patiently waiting. "I'm so sorry Master Yu, forgive my tardiness." she stated while bowing. Yu focused his wandering gaze on his wife, and shook his head. "Xiao, no need to be sorry for anything. You always take your time, and I always think you look absolutely beautiful as the blossoms in Spring when you emerge. And don't call me 'Master Yu', we're husband and wife we can be casual. You can call me a pet name if you want, just not something too formal." he chuckled, knowing Xiao would come up with a pet name fairly quick off the top of her head. Xiao smiled and nodded, blushing at the compliment he paid her. "Thank you..." she paused, "Yuey-Wuey" she giggled, her hands pressing against her face, trying to contain her laughter. "Hey, you have no-one to blame but yourself, you gave me the idea." she smirked and grabbed his hand, ready to be shown into Wu's capital. Zhou Yu laughed a hearty laugh at Xiao's remarks and nickname, "Not bad, Xiao." He touched the hand offered to him and led Xiao out of their manor-like home and onto the stone streets of Wu's capital. He spotted Sun Ce in the distance talking to a foreigner who was rather intimidating. He looked at Xiao and she was waving to Ce so he started to as well.

Sun Ce looked to Zhou Tai and noticed that he didn't really seem to want to say anything, which was for the most part typical of Zhou Tai, so Ce kind of looked around nervously as the stranger stood there staring at them. Then, out of the corner of Ce's eye, he noticed Zhou Yu coming toward him with his wife. "Hey, Zhou Yu! Check this big guy out. He is a foreigner from across the sea and I can't understand a word he said other than his name is Keiji Maeda. What do you make of it?" He looked to his best friend and oath brother for help with the matter for he knew that Zhou Yu would definitely know what to do in this situation.
Keiji stood there kind of dumbfounded as to what was going on. He didn't know if he was under arrest or if these people were just hooligans looking at him as if he were a God. He looked at the two newcommers and cocked an eyebrow at the little lady. "Hey, what's with the small girl and the slightly bigger girl?" He said referring to both Xiao Qiao and Zhou Yu.

Zhou Tai choked at what Keiji said, trying to hold in a laughter. Maintaining his stature, he stood up and cleared his throat and tried to find the words to say to Keiji. "Lord, Zhou Yu, is no girl," Zhou Yu said. "He is the mind of Wu." Zhou Tai would be able to look back to this and laugh for years. Although, Zhou Yu's long hair, and smooth complection did give him a feminine composition. But in no way, was Zhou Yu was a woman. "This," Zhou Taiissued towards Sun Ce. "Is my lord. Or Daimyo as you would call him?"

Zhou Yu got to Sun Ce and agreed to help translate some stuff that this Keiji Maeda said. He could pick out that Keiji thought him to be a girl, and he slightly chuckled at this. "The man that just spoke to you is Zhou Tai, he knows bits of your language from sailing through the ocean in his younger days, learning languages as he went. He is my uncle." He pulled Xiao Qiao in front of him. "This is my wife, Xaio Qiao. And I'm Zhou Yu, it is nice to meet a warrior of your caliber." Yu finished.
Xiao Qiao was sortof confused with this stange Keiji Maeda person, she could tell he was strong, but he didn't seem to be mean really. She listened intently to Yu, Tai, and Keiji talk in a language she didn't know. Yu pulled her in front of him, probably introducing her to Keiji to be friendly.

Keiji shook his head and looked at the effeminate Zhou Yu and noticed the few masculine features that could be seen so long as this man wore his armor and clothes. He smiled and said, "Oh, haha, forgive me! I see that you speak Japanese! I'm glad to know that I won't have to learn your language from simple conversation." He looked at the several people standing before him and then specifically to Sun Ce. "Sun Ce, you are the Daimyo here... Just the person I would like to meet. I was hoping that I could stay here and keep my horse, Matsukaze, here in this stable. I don't need a room, I can sleep in that pile of hay over there if you don't have the room for me. I will work for you in order to pay for this since I have no money." He flexed his muscles, "I am a strong fighter and a hard worker, so you may do with me whatever you want!"
Sun Ce marveled at the speaking Zhou Tai and Zhou Yu, noticing Tai almost breaking out into laughter at Keiji's words. He knew that it had to have been really funny if even Tai was holding back laughter. Keiji looked at them then began speaking to Ce in his foreign tongue. Ce cocked his head, trying to understand this language but failing miserably. He looked to Yu and Tai for a translation.
((I think that for now I will have one of you translate for me but after the first translation I will just include the translation in my post like this: "Zhou Yu translated Keiji's words and Ce thought of them for a while," or something like that, depending on who is in the room. I want Keiji to eventually learn Chinese.))

Zhou Yu smiled at Keiji and laughed. "It's okay, Keiji Maeda, I sometimes get mistaken as a woman by my own soldiers! I speak a little bit, but I'm certainly not the best. I'm sorry Keiji, but our Daimyo doesn't speak your language at all. I can assure you that we will let you stay here if you work with us, and we need no money from you either, we have plenty don't worry. I can already tell your a strong warrior, you will fit in well here, trust me." Yu finished and, explained to Ce that Keiji had asked if he could stay at Wu if he worked and fought for him.
Xiao Qiao quietly watched Zhou Yu talk to Keiji in his language, she couldn't understand anything, but her husband did explain what he said to them. She didn't want to bother him at all, she couldn't mess with Yu while he was talking, it was rude.

Zhou Yu explained what he and Keiji were saying and he smiled largely. "That's great! I can't wait to see what you can do! Hmm... I bet that he could tell us about the new enemy that is invading the land. I'll leave that to you Zhou Yu. As for right now I received an Envoy from both Wei and Shu telling me about how Xia Pi is under attack and Yuan Shao has been killed. We need to do something about this! We can't just let these people gain power in this land when we were just gaining strength! My father would rush to stop them just as he rushed to defeat Dong Zhuo! So we need to do the same! It would take too long to get to Xia Pi to reinforce them in time, but we need to build up our forces and get to know our enemy. I want to lead an army up north of here as soon as possible." Ce was excited about showing these new enemies what the Little Conquerer is all about! He looked at Keiji and smiled. He approached him and patted him on the shoulder, looking up at the tall man. He turned to Zhou Yu and said, "Have someone help him with his stuff and get him a room."
Keiji stretched his arms and shoulders our and gave a slight yawn after Zhou Yu had spoken. He nodded and said, "Good, I'm glad. So, can I get a place to sleep at soon? I am pretty tired, I was riding for a long time." Just as he had finished speaking Sun Ce started speaking and then came up to pat him on the shoulder. Keiji grinned a wild grin and held out his hand to the side and opened his palm. He thrust his arm toward Ce and pat him hard on the shoulder a few times. Ce seemed a bit shaken but for the most part okay.

Zhou Yu turned towards Keiji, "Our Lord has just asked you if you could tell us anything about these strange invaders that are attacking. He also says that we are to build up the army of our kingdom, and lead an army north as soon as possible. He also says that you have gotten yourself a room, but not speicifcally where. You can stay near my house if you like, since I can understand you a good bit." Yu finished and looked at Ce.

Zhou Tai took this time to study every inch of this stranger's body. By what he could tell, this Keiji person was a strong fighter, one who fought for strength and to find those with strength, much like Wei's Xu Huang. He knew that he was not threat as of now, for he had some manners, although, by his relaxed poise taht Keiji was showing, he could tell that he was not one for nobility and formalities. In a way, Zhou Tai liked that. But he could also tell, that if they would ever have to fight this man, they would be in trouble. He had strong eyes, very strong eyes. Ones that could see well into a fighter's moves, and be able to counter with ease. Even Keiji's horse seemed as if it could take on a few soldiers by itself. Yes, this man was experienced indeed. He just hoped, that this Keiji was not going to be a future enemy.
