Myth was standing on the ledge of their weyr, looking out into the morning activity around him when Ashke came up beside him and leaded against his left foreleg. Myth leaned down and nuzzled her some before raiseing his head and going back to his musings. They were happy here. Though they had only been here for a few days, it seemed that they had found their home.
Ashke grinned up at her friend. He always seemed so thoughtful in the mornings, something about the cool air made him contimplative, and odd behavior for a dragon, but one she found that she liked. But not this morning. He hadn't even seem to notice that she was wearing that chained belt he had been bugging her to wear. Sigh. Men! Ashke exclaimed, stepping away from Myth's side and placing her hands on her hips as she glared up at him. No matter what th species, they just don't pay attention.
Uhh.. what? Myth replied, coming out of his musings at her tone. Oh! You're wearing my belt. I told you it would look good on you. What's the occassion?
No occassion, dearheart. Just thought you'd like it if I worn something out of your 'horde'. Can't I do something nice once in awhile?
You really should be finding some other rider to be nice too. Not just me, you know. Myth stated. It was an old arguement, and one that they would probably be having for a long time to come. Ashke bauked against starting relationships with other riders. As she never knew how other riders or their dragons would react if Myth flew. And she wasn't ready to deal with the complications of jealousy that non-riders sometimes had.
Don't worry. i have you, and that's al that really matters. What more do I need, after all? Ashke replied blitely, knowing the response she would get.
You know what. Myth replied, covering it in all the induendo and scarcasium he had, which was a heaping helping for a dragon.
Ashke laughed out loud and arranged Myth's riding straps so that he could take her down the the bottom of the Weyr and the dinning hall. She had enjoied the few mating flights he had been involved in. But the only one he had truely flew was a green. And while it had been an enjoiable experience, Ashke still prefered men.
Myth snorted but left it at that.

High above the Weyrbowl, just below the level of the clouds, his white hide camouflaging him from sight, a small White dragon hovered, wings beating before he began his descent into the Weyr proper, landing neatly in the middle, close to the Weyrlake as his rider slipped from his back, signalling to a nearby Drudge.
"Which way to the Jr. Weyrwoman's quarters?" He asked, receiving a pointed finger in the direction of a Weyr several meters off the ground. The whiterider nodded in reply as he headed for the Weyr, his dragon following behind him at a more dignified pace. The two of them soon reached the Weyr that had been singled out, D'min knocked on the door, then stepped back to wait for it to open

Kai looked up at the sound of someone knocking on her door.
Now who... Pushing her chair back from her desk where she was doing figures on a slate, she walked over and opened the door, blinking at the unknown rider before her as she leaned one hand against the doorway.
"Can I help you with something, rider...?"
She didn't recognize him, so it was a good bet that this was a messanger or a transfer rider. Either way, it meant more work, so she'd do best to pay attention to what he had to say.

D'min blinked, then nodded in response. " Are you the Jr Weyrwoman here?" He asked, backing away from the door slightly. " I'm D'min, of White Yuroneth.. i transfered here from Ista.." He continued, grinning shyly at her, his expression interrupted as Yuroneth choose that moment to push his head past his rider so that he could see the Jr Weyrwoman.
I greet you, Jr Weyrwoman of Shining Heights. D'minMine and I are newly arrived here. Yuroneth informed her, his eyes whirling a light pleasant shade of blue before he pulled his head back, disappearing back outside.

Kai blinked at the dragon's head, then grinned shook her head. This is what she got for having a room so close to an exit.
"Not a messenger then. Hum, step inside, Rider D'min, and let's discuss this." Kai stepped back to allow a way for
Regalth, see to Yuroneth please?
Of course, mine. Regalth stood up from the cliffside she had been lounging on and took to the air, lazily soaring over to her Weyr. Greetings, Yuroneth. Welcome to Shining Heights Weyr. I am Regalth.
"You can take the chair, I'll pull up a slate and sit on my bed," Kai offered.

D'min nodded as he stepped inside the Weyr, allowing his form to fill the chair as he waited for her to signal that she was ready, his light blue eyes roaming the Weyr silently while he waited. So this was what the inside of a Queen's Weyr looked like. It was a lot humbler than he had ever expected it to be, but then again, Queens were only dragons, not gods set on high to be worshiped.
Outside the Weyr, Yuroneth raised his head to regard Regalth with awe inspired curiosity. Greetings to you Regalth, bonded of the Jr Weyrwoman. I thank you for your warm welcome to this new Weyr. Yuroneth replied, his eyes speeding up.

Regalth inclined her head slightly to Yuroneth. What Weyr do you come from? She asked, thinking of their other recent transfers.
"I suppose we should start with where you come from," Kai said pleasantly, picking up an empty slate from her tabletop and a piece of chalk before settling on her bed. "Oh, and reasons for transferring, of course." Kai began writing down what she already knew of him in a precise hand.

August leaned back in his seat, tucking his hands behind his head as he lifted his feet and placed the on the table in front of him. There weren't too many in the dinning hall at this time of the day, which ment that he basiclly had the place to himself. The remains of the meal he had just eaten where pushed off to one side of the table. August glanced at it ruefully. At least they eat good here, it's not always that way at someplaces.

Yuroneth lowered his head slightly, as he started to think. We transferred from Ista Weyr. He replied, raising his head again. D'min nodded in reply " Of course, Jr Weyrwoman." He responded " Yuroneth and I are from Ista Weyr, and the reason that we transferred is because of overcrowding in the Weyr." He continued, a smile crossing his face.
Outside, Yuroneth's low rumble of amusement broke through his thoughts as a squeak was heard, announcing the arrival of a incredibly pale sky blue flit who took up his perch on D'min's shoulder, eyes whirling a vivid shade of blue, signifing his curiosity

(He wasn't thinking already? Lol)
Kai had been writing all that down, but looked up at a twinge in her senses. She smiled at the curious flit. "Well hello there. What's your name?"
At that moment another flit betweened into the room and Kai let one of her two land on her shoulder with a bright smile. "This is my Flamewing."
The Scarlet-Gold two-tone leaned forward and chirped an imperious greeting at the blue, clearly showing the ranking between them.
New people? New people to the Weyr?
"Yes, sweetie. New people." Kai met D'min's eyes and raised her eyebrows slightly. "Overcrowding? That's all?"

After depositing Ashke on the ground next next to the dinning hall entrance, Myth climbed up to the heights of the Weyr to bask in the morning light.
Ashke followed Myth's flight to the heights before going into the dinning hall and grabbing herself some hot klah and a bowl of porriage. Moving over to an unocupied table Ashke sat down and poured a large size helping of sweetener into her porriage before starting to eat.

August watched as a woman entered the dinning hall, her metal belt sending off almost musical notes as she went over and collected her meal. Noteing the knots on her shoulder August's face spread into a grin. A dragonrider, but not gold or green. Is that orange? And blue? Interesting. He might not know all about Weyr life yet, but there wasn't a trader worth his salt that couldn't read arm knots.

D'min noddes, blushing slightly at her expression as Ciel chirped in response, lowering his head to show that he acknowledged the other flit She is... Flame..Wing? He asked D'min, curious.
" Of course, that's her name, Ciel..." He replied with a grin. " And yes, overcrowding was the only reason, Jr Weyrwoman." He continued, turning back to her
