He is a monster. Mom says he lives in the basement...which is why I can't go down there. She says he was an accident... A mistake... She said he was evil. Thats why I never go down there. I heard him once, he sounded horrible, moaning down there. I told mom and she went down stairs. I heard him stop and then I heard a scream from it. Mom walked out, angrily, tellign me never to mess with it. I wodner what it looks like. I bets it its big ugly monster! I wonder hwo he stays alive, does he eat rats or cereal or what? Anyways, I hope I never meet him.-Samantha Mcarthur's diary, age 8

I've got an idea and as pompous as it sounds, I want to be main character. Imagine a nearby future where clones exist. Yet, they failed, not growing up properly, ending up, mentally, emotionally, physically and in appearance disabled. Cloning was made illegal again and most were put to death, or put in nursing homes. This is ther story of a clone. His name is... Happy. He is a clone of Samuel McArthur.

It was Samuel Mcarthur last wish of his wife, that if he died, that she have him cloned and she took care of him. She hated this, being against clonign and quiet a mean woman at times. But she did his request, and had a clone made. She was happy at first, even though it was a bit guly, with pale skin, diffrent colored eyes, whie hair and a unworking hand. But as he grew into a child she realised he was diffrent, he wouldn't get himself potty trained, was incoherent and wouldn't get any better. but she wasn;t going to give him away, she couldn't. Clones were illegal now, if she got rid of him he woudl be killed and she promised to take care of him. so, she put him in the basement, dressng him a diaper and old clothes. He lived down there with no freinds, but si teddy bear and no wamrth but a blanket and an old pillow. She mad ehim sleep in the corner and often yelled at him, and told him he was bad and kicked him and such. He didn't undertsand why his mommy was so mean.

This continued, she treating him badly because he didn't get better and was an ugly clone. A bad boy. She then decided to use a sperm from her husband, wanting a child to make up for the"dud." She had a daughter,Samantha, when Happy was 4 and already in the basement. Years passed, Samantha grew up a normal, happy, beautfiul girl and her mother loved her. Her mom had one rule though, no going in the basement. That was where... it lived. She heard it occasionally, not knowing her mother fed it at night. She told noone, as her mother wanted but got curioser and curiouser.

Thats when this rp starts. It is the near future, Samantha is fourteen and Happy is eighteen. Samantha or Sam gest curiouser and curiouser, her mom works at home, doing a telemarketing job, mostly though, they were supported by Sam Mcarthur's after death to family pension from the labs. Sam starts thinking about it more, wanting to see it.

Happy lives in the basement, lonely, just wanting his old mommyback. she was the onyl person he knew besiudes Teddy his stuffed bear. He still wears a diaper and nothign else but a worn outsweater and sweats. This story starts and as it unfolds, I'll fill in what need sto be told and answer questions. We need two other characters for now, others can join with my permission.
