Sorina Plains

Rolling hills, waving green grass, acres and acres of farmland as far as the eye can see..! Yeah, it's pretty. Meadows and open spaces, who wouldn't love this place? The wind just a light breeze, weather changeable but generally friendly, and flowers being flowery underfoot. Aaaaahhh.
Please don't blow it up.

Tom lounged under a tree with a book in one hand and a glass of fine red wine in the other, while a small robot played an old jazz record in perfect quality sound, while his faithful dog Motley lay curled up at his feet.
"Truly, this is the life" he mused to himself as he sliped away into the world of the book he was reading.

Tyr yawned loudly as he flew gently over the plains. It was almost uncommon for him to be away from the city where he lived, but now and then, he did need some room. So, landing in an open area he hovered gently above the ground. His long tail slid gently along the soft grass while his wings beat down to keep him aloft.

Making sure that noone was in the area he closed his eyes and concentrated. Instantly his mind cleared and brought up a vision of the area around him. He placed himself where he was in his mind, then the object he was trying to summon nearby. Concentrating with all his might he finally opened his mind. There it was...

The little spoon was laying neatly in the grass, a couple yards away, exactly where he had wanted it. "And some would ask... why a spoon." He grinned and chortled. "Well that way I can eat..." Laughing again he smiled and flew off again.

Stretched out underneath what seemed to be a clear sky, Leori basked in the artificial sunlight. She pillowed her head in her arms and stared up at the strange atmosphere that filled this level. The raccoon had always wondered how all of this worked. Of course she couldn't just sit back and enjoy it; she was too restless. She needed something to do, but this lying here, gazing up at bright blue and puffy white, was far more comfortable.

Yay for restless leg syndrome. Leori sat up and stared off to the west. She could see the edge of a city, of Koryo City. With a sigh and a heave she picked herself up and started on her way to Koryo. Perhaps there would be something to do there.

Fyrinae skipped through the fields of permanently golden corn, singing loudly and tunelessly and waving at the butterflies flitting past her head. She didn't really know where she was going, but that made it all the more fun. Like an adventure, or something...
She thought for a second about trying a little practice magic. No, it was too good a day to spoil her mood with failure. She saw Koryo approaching in the distance, over the crest of this hill, screeched in delight, ran full pelt and flung herself down the slope, rolling head over heels across the meadow. She picked herself up at the bottom and dusted herself down, giggled and flopped down in the grass to watch the clouds go by. Resting her head in her hands, she chewed on a blade of grass. This isn't too bad a life, as they go, I suppose. No responsibilities, no barriers... A girl could get used to this.

Swooping through the clouds, Tyr thought about why most people never conjured them when they needed more shade. Especially the more powerful summoners who could at any time. It was strange to him how other's minds worked. "Most seem to just be too simple. Most are just far too... complicated."

Contradictory? The word had never occurred to him. Mostly becuase he linked his words with his thoughts. Therefore there was never any reason to think what he said aloud made no sense to anyone who might be listening. Why should he? Not many ever heard him talk anyways.

Of course, there was at least two reasons for this. The first being that those that head him talk became extremely confused. The second was that these people told others about it. At least, that was what Tyr had inferred from the way things were around him.

Then, as if planned, and in mid thought, he dived back down to the feilds, narrowly landing on his tail as he backwings himself to a stop.

((Errrrm... My character pissed off to Koryo City and is now heading down to Linshaw on the Water Level, and JitterBug left Gaia altogether. You did miss a lot... sweatdrop ))

Checking around, the fairly youthful dragon started to think again about something to summon. The other's didn't need him to start classes... and plus it wasn't like he needed to pointlessly resummon small peices of candy over and over. It bored him to an extent.

As his eyes closed his semi-transparent body shone in the midday light. There was something calming about the concentration needed to summon something. Calming and yet, blank.

Soon enough he opened his eyes and a small, silver fork lay where he had projected it in his mind. "And now the feast may begin." Chuckling once more to himself he stroked his powerful wings, creating lift. "Farewell fork..." With that, he headed off to Koryo City, taking his time.
