recently there have been a huge rumor at my school about me liking this guy. I have known him for about 6 month and we talked alot in class, but nowhere eles. Well, at first he didn't know, but then some one blurted it out during class. On my way to the next class a girl that I barely know asked me if it was true. Because there were lots of people nearby( including him), I didn't want to say yes and be rejected(and embarrsed) I denied it. But to come think about it now, I actually might like him. Because of the rumor I feel kind of akward talking to him in front of other people. How can I find out if he likes me without asking?

I had the same problem at my old school... And personaly, I think you two are just really good friends! 4laugh
I suggest, you tell your friends that you and him share some interest in some stuff(I imaging you guys do, right?) and that some other reasons why you talk to him. Tell them that the rumor wasn't close to be true. I think you should just clear that up and forget about that rumor first. 3nodding
Also, I think he must have though that that rumor was just silly. I think hes thinking that just because you two talk to each others, people think that you're in love. But you guys are accuatly just really good friends. whee

Yes, yes, that's right, deny all rumors unless you've cleared them up with yourself first .. that's my strategy. XDD
I agree with Viki -- ignore the rumor. If both he and you passed it off as "just gossip" originally, there's no reason for your current relationship to change at all.
But if you want it to change, then go for it. (: Just don't come on too strong, ya know? ^_~

well we started out as friends until about 1 1/2 month before the rumor, our feeling began to change(gradually). I can somehow feel it, but i was really shy. Now that it is out in the open, I feel weird telling him the truth.
