Ok so there is this guy and he acts like he likes me. He keeps wanted to hug me everyday a multipul of times. He calls me baby. He says we're a couple. He sometimes sits by me during lunch if there's a vacant seat next to me. He sometimes takes my try. So does this guy actually like me? Or is he just playing around?

There's was a guy at my old school that keep calling girls Sexy, or saying Hey Baby n' stuff xd
But I've never seen/heard/exprience that you are currenlty into. But here's my words: I imaging he's ''very close'' to you. So surly he would listen to you. Try to talking this thing out. Telling what you feel about what he's doing and you would like to know if he does really like you or not. 3nodding

Ah, hugs. <3 They're wonderful, if given by the right person. XDD Hahaha, I sound as if I know a lottttt about this stuff -- don't get me wrong, I get hugged by him a lot, but I don't know that much, okay? So don't take my advice as perfect -- it's far from it.
He calls you "baby," and says you're a couple?
I think he likes you. Seeing as you claimed you're shy, though, I don't know what you're going to do about it. o_O;;

Get a friend to ask what he thinks about you, if you're shy thats the best you can do.
I always find it's easy to ask someone online if they like you.
