Earth(previously 616) Jamie Braddock pulled a quantum string that tapped into the sushi database, this caused Earth616 to merge with an alternate world called Gaia. This caused histories to be re-written.

Scott Summers and his wife Jean looked at the six young mutants in the danger room. The sentinels shot beams of force at one of them, she quickly jumped back as her body began to change, she become more lithe and her muscles more visible, her hair became longer and her hands grew claws, with inhuman agility she ran up the sentinel and clawed into it's arm. The sentinel shot a beam from it's eyes. I sharp flash appeared by her. Near her now was a young black man, with blue hair. He touched her shoulder and they both vanished.
Ther sentinel's arm fell off from it's own blast.
"They work as a team, but they seem to like to take risks."
"Scott, them being here is a risk."
"I know that Jean, but..."
"Shhh, I want to watch..."
The scenerio was changed now, soldiers came at them from every side.
A shower of bullets flew at Moon Braddock, the daughter of the former XMen known as Psylocke. She moved with great speed, not one bullet touched her.
"Mindtrip and Psyche are dealing very well with not being able to use their telepathy."
Scott gave no reply, he only watched as Ecomancer took down soldier with tornadoes.
"He reminds me of his mother."
"Yeah, watching them makes me nostalgic. I should call Ororo."
A young mutant in all black opened his eyes. Ethereal images came into being, they struck out at the holographic adversaries. He gazed up defiantly at Scott.
Scott's blood ran cold whenever he looked at Jim. The mutant known at Xavier's as Necro. With his various death powers, his link to ghosts, and his cold personality, Scott and many others were uneasy around this young man. Even Jean could not penetrate his mind, something other a spiritual barrier guarding his thoughts.
Amongst a pile of mechanical debris stood Ashley, aka as Clay. With her earthen strength, she took out the most of the opponents.
They knew how to work as a team and could hold their own.
Jean picked the perfect six, the newest XMen team was chosen,
now...
Who would serve as the leader?

"Rian is the most level headed of the six."
"Jim is just as level headed as Rian is... at times."
"When he's asleep maybe, Jean. he has too big of a defiant streak in him to be a leader."
Jean could see without using her telepathy why Scott didn't want Necro to lead. There was something in Jim, something that reminded him of Logan. It was true, she couldn't place it either. Maybe one is born every generation, one who is feared by superiors and beloved by everyone else.
"What about Lloyd."
Meanwhile in the library; Ecomancer, Necro, Clay, Mindtrip, Psyche, and Lycan sat as Mindtrip mentally listened in on the Headmasters.
"Well, that's unfair." Lloyd blurted out.
"What's wrong dude?" Jim asked.
"They're deciding who is going to be the leader of our team, shouldn't we choose who we follow."
"Nope, Scott knows everything just because he's been breast feeding on Xavier until he was 27, and you guys wonder why I hate that four eyed pissant!"
"While I don't agree with Jim's attempt at eloquence, I do agree that that we should choose who our Squad leader is." Rian said quietly.
"I vote for Tententen!" Ashley cheerfully added.
Lloyd fell down on the ground.
"What happened?" Moon asked.
"Mrs. Summers happened... she caught me and threw me out."Mindtrip confessed as he got up.
Jean's voice spoke into their minds.
They went back into the danger room, their was no scenerio, no simulation.
"You kids want to choose your leader, then we'll let you."
Cyclops said to them, dressed in the uniform.
Jean was in her uniform as well.
Her voice spoke in her mind again.
We'll see, who can lead you guys to defeating us.
Jim smiled at the thought of punching Scott in the face.
The six young XMen stood side by side and nodded.
It was on.

Long ago, Jean Grey held the godly powers of the Pheonix within her body. Though she longer was tied to that dreaded force, power is power. Jean had power in spades. As poor Clay bore witness too.
"Let me down, Mrs. Summers." she demanded.
"Look to your team to get you down Ashley." Scott told her. He unleashed an optic blast aimed at Clay. In her earthen form, she would shatter, in her human form, she would hurt lots.
Miss Grey, Let her down!
"Psyche, do you know how easy I can resist your mind control."
Jean was struck from behind by Lycan.
"Resist that! Your flame haired hotness."
Mindtrip vanished and appeared holding Clay, they both vanished in time to dodge the blast.
Necro called to the many spirits that reside between this world and the next, they gave him the power of the ethereal, ebon light shot out from his body and blasted at Cyclops, the blast was stopped by a telekinetic wall.
Psyche patched everyone into each other. Clay took on her more pliable form, she ran at Scott, completely absorbing his force beams. Ecomancer created winds and focused them at Jean. Jim summoned his ghostly ebon light again and blasted Cyclops, with a massive grin on his face. Mindtrip ran over to Scott Summers and touched his forehead, Scott was trapped in sleep that he wouldn't get out of until Lloyd released him.
Jean looked at the team. They were organized.
"Who's handiwork is this?"
"The sexy one." Jim said. "Her and Rian actually."
"Well done... Lloyd, you can let my husband go now."
"Yo, Zan, I'll give ya a shiny nickel if you keep him lobotomized like that."
"Jim, I am going to not read your mind and assume you're joking."
Lloyd released his mental hold on Scott.
Things were quiet after that. They trained, Psyche and Rian lead the team together.
Jean called the team into the office.
The six stood in her office.
"As all of you know, This isn't the only campus
their is another campus ran by Emma Frost, in Boston. She had six students who showed a lot of promise, maybe one day to be XMen."
"Had..." Zarsha asked?
"Yes, they were kidnapped... Emma has her school to run and keep safe, so I have told her that you all will get her students back."
"Who would have taken them?" Rian asked.
"Emma's criminal past is no secret, though she has proven herself time and time again, she was once a member of the Hellfire Club... now called the Nitemarefire Club, from what we have found out, they mean to brainwash these children, to make them servants. He don't know what their powers are but, I do know that these young kids have to be rescued. So team... suit up."

Six students were in a dark room. Elucere, Moo, RadX, Shu, Tas, and Duklyon.
"You guys okay?" Moo asked.
"I am going to kill the Nitemare FireClub." Shu said standing up.
Rad got up and clenched his fist.
"Guy's, I can't use my 'Angel aura'. It's not working."
"I'll get us out of here." Duklyon said.
He opens his hands and steps back.
"My portals... I cant make them.."
"Our powers our gone... we aren't mutants anymore."
"Oh on the contrary..."
A blond man appears to them, they can see through his translucent form.
"Your powers are not gone, we have just turned them off for the time being."
"Who the hell are you?" Shu yells.
"Oh fair lady, I apologize. My name is Alexander, I am the Nitemare Club's Black King. You are here because your dear teacher has crossed us one too many times, we will train you to be our bodyguards."
A few dark energy orbs appeared in the room, each one flew in and out of the kids, they shaped and became demonic looking creatures.
"I see that she wastes no time."
"Who...."
"Hahahaha, my dear friend, the new White Queen, you will meet her and my other associates soon enough."
"What did they just do to us?" Tas asked the others.
"You know," RadX said. "I dont wanna find out."

Lynz walked through the halls of the Nitemare Fire Club.
She walked into Touga, the reigning White King of the Nitemare Fire Club.
"According to Alex, the old White Queen should be headed here soon, maybe even the XMen."
"Are you scarred Touga?" she asked.
"No, are you?" he asked.
"Why should I be scarred, fear is my power.... haha, I can't wait to see Emma shatter."
"Hahaha, that b***h is going to be snowcones when I am done with her." the White King adds.
The Black Queen walks into the halls..." Come you two, we must prepare to summon the Nitemare."
