I remember reading about what the character was based off of and the zodiac they posessed and how it went with their character. I'll look it up again and post about it later with all the information~

Which zodiac? If it's western I think Akane was probably Leo and Nao is Scorpio.

The American Zodiac. At the end of the CDs I have, there is a description about everything each Hime represents. Like Akira's Child is actually an old Frog God I think they said it was. Jiraiya. That made me laugh because the first thing I thought of was Naruto.

Well I knew they all had legends behind their children, Kiyohime was a preistess that fell in love with a monk and he lied to her about coming back to her, so she got angry, turned into a serpent and then dropped a bell on him to capture him...

but that's not Zodiac? o:

Right, there's no frog in the zodiac neutral Maybe it's not zodiac but just regular stories

in the fan sub I have there is something at the end that talks about their zodiac or something. Sorry for the confusion guys. I know their children have nothing to do with their birthdays . . . sorry if I said something like it did. My bad. Maybe I shoulda titled this as Hime legends . . . or something. . .

That's alright. (: We got the jist of it kinda.

I never saw those things at the end of the fansubs. I'm hoping they'll put something like that on the dvds, the little allusions are interesting.

Sort of like when Nagi was reading Lord of the Flies in Mashiro's car. <3 love the little symbols.

yup, akira's gennai is actually named after the jap scientist Gennai who discovered something about electricity...i don't remember....so that's why gennai uses electricity as a source of power. ninja And akira is supposed to represent Jiraiya, a fictional ninja who stood on a frog and stole from the rich to help the poor. lol, VERY similar to naruto, eh? 3nodding
and kagutsuchi is named after the great jap godly dragon of fire or something like that... xp
