The Defence Against the Dark Arts class is held in a large classroom, same as always. The room is filled with 15 2-person desks, though not all of them will be filled. Lining the room on both sides are low lying bookcases, filled with volumes for the classes to come. Adjourning the classroom is Professor O'Haera's office, where there are several locked bookcases, containing old family secrets about the Dark Arts. Edaline O'Haera can usually be found grading homework at her desk anytime she is not holding a class.

Edaline walked into her room. She had kept a mellow morning and afternoon that day, eating a small salad in her study for lunch. The Great Hall seemed too busy for the first day. She approached the chalkboard and tapped it once. The chalk began to spell out a message for the soon-to-arrive 7th years:
"Welcome to 7th Year DATDA:
Please:
- Take your seats
- Open your copy of Darkness Demeise and read the chapter entitled "Advanced Sogrespelles"
- Please close your volume and place it on the corner of your desk when you are finished, so I know we can begin lecture
Congratulations on your 7th year at Hogwarts! I look forward to a exciting term."
She then sat at her small desk near the board and touched up her lecture on Sogre's incantations.

They walked down the hall.. And found themselves at their DADA class.. Ory opened the Door for Toria.. "After you..."

Ory followed her, and they found a table near the middle, but not too close to the front, though not to far back. "Looks good to me.. " she said as she took a seat. She looked up at the board.. "Looks like some reading.." she sighed as she took out her book and turned to the chapter, then looking up at the Professor.. "Evening Professor, I hear Care of Magical Creatures didnt get homework or class work. Glad to see you're lookin' out.." she said with a smile.. She really liked Professor O'Harea, they had a nice repore, and always joked around with eachother.. She knew she could trust Professor O'Haera, it was a nice feeling..

He knew it was going ot happen.. Ory laughed when toria read the part about having to read and she sighed. He didnt mind reading in DADA, he thought it was useful information. "Yeah, reading.. No worries.." "Yes, Hello Professor.." he said with a smile as Toria joked with her.

Professor O'Haera smiled at the two Ravenclaws. They were good students, and she was glad to see them getting to know each other better. "It's good to see you too, Victoria. And you, Glory," she said, continuing to make notes on her lesson.
There were still more seventh years to arrive.

A seventh year Gryffindor boy walked into class, or should I say strode into class, his chest was puffed out all proud, his face had a large beaming smile on it, today he was to learn in his favorite class. He never had to work as hard in this class as the others, as using spells was more natrural to him than doing charms, or potions. He also found the teacher quite attractive, too bad she had a husban and was too old for him. He smiled at her broadly. "Hey teach. Good class today I assume?" He smiled at her again and then seated himself at the front of class.

Professor O'Haera nodded slightly to the boy. He's too cocky... she thought. This year, Edaline had decided to really undo the stops with her 7th years. They'd know things no other Hogwarts student had learned before.

He finished realtivly fast and put his bookin the corner of the desk like the board said. He waited for Toria to finish so they could talk.. He didnt pay any attention to the Gryffindor who walked in.. Some people's kids.. he thought..
