Have a handy spell, recipe, etc. you'd like to share with the guild? Post it here! Just be sure to use proper grammar and spelling...and explain it in accurate detail. 3nodding
[Note: If you don't use proper grammar, I reserve the right to edit your posts to make it have good grammar. This is a BoS and needs to be done decently.]

Introjection Meditation Potion
This is a simple ritual to do when somehow your road is not so lighted and need to solve some issues with your own self.
First you got to make the potion. This potion will get you in meditative state, bless you and make it easier for you to find answers.
Get in the cauldron (or thing to put in the fire) 2 cups of water and a little stone on salt (the thick one) to bless it. Then put a laurel leaf inside and put it to low fire. Then make a dust with the pestle and morter, made with 2 laurel leaves more, 3 pinches of lavender, some eucaliptus leaves. As the water boils, throw the powder inside and let it boil a little more, mixing with a wooden spoon and charging it with power and the purpose of letting you see what you need and open the doors to your unconscious.
When it's done (some 5-8 minutes of boiling will be fine). Put some sugar to sweeten and let it cool in the chalice.
Then it's good to take a bath, if it's possible with candlelight and essence oils (like Dragon's blood) and relax, RELAX, RELAX!
Then lay in a comfy position (but not too comfy so you cant fall asleep). I suggest the floor, leaned to the wall with a pillow. This can be done naked or with light white cloth. Try to set up some candles, nice aromas around and some music if you want to.
Next, set up a mini-protection circle using stones or something to delimit the bends, and then lay there and silently drink the potion, pondering about the issue you wanna solve. You can grab a turquoise or pink quartz stoneto serv as bateries.
After drinking the potion, chant the spell:
"Hear the words, hear the ryhme, heed the hope within my mind. Let come foreward the answers to this riddle, so I can move on and stop being stuck in the middle. I call upon my faith, will and power to bring light into this dark hour."
Then relax and go into meditative spell. Feel the spell and potion's magic flow through your body, and try hard to soar. Odds are that most likely a guide will come to you... it can be anything that's important to you, from your astral self or you spirit guide, to the spirit of someone you loved and has passed away. Whatever it is, dont fear and let it guide you to where it wants. You'll see images of your kid age, and surely will find clues to solve your crisis 3nodding

I thought some of you might like some TK basics here, so here they are. =D
Basic Telekinesis Guide
Note: This isn't a guide for people who were born with physical psionics. Chances are, this will only help for LEARNING the basics (towards the ungifted).
scream OK PEOPLE, TIME TO LEARN. whee
1. It'll help if you've had some time to meditate a little while before attempting this. The longer, the better; although in some cases meditation isn't required at all.
2. Don't even TRY a small object when you're just starting, you're setting yourself up for discouragement. Instead, take a small bowl and fill it with water. Put a toothpick in the water, and wait for the water to settle. You should take these few seconds to calm your mind (in its entirety. If you have any stray thoughts while first starting, it will not work.
3. After the water has calmed and the toothpick is floating in a stationary postion, Imagine the texture of the toothpick. It'll be like you feeling the wood inside your head. It could be rough, or smooth, thin, or fat, but make sure the feeling you have in your head matches the toothpick. This will let you more throughly know the object.
4. See the toothpick moving in your head. Learn what it feels like for it to move (even though you aren't close enough to physically feel it move). Try using your will, pushing it like a tool created to move the toothpick, and emulate the feeling of the toothpick moving in the water.
5. Create a mentality that allows you to KNOW the toothpick is going to move. It helps your courage, and without being brave in your decision that you will make the toothpick move will help a lot.
6. Some extend their hands toward the object, as if channeling energy to push the object with, during telekinesis. I do this too, from time to time, and though it may be easier for some people, you should practice using both your hands and just with your eyes.
7. Repeat this almost religiously. Some do well, and others don't. However, it takes a long time to see how much potential you have, so don't give up after your first few tries. Once the toothpick becomes easy, try moving a toothpick out of water on a flat surface, or a small plastic object.
I hope this helps, and if anyone has any questions, i'll try my best to answer them.
...I still didn't get a webcam to show Yue... crying
Good luck everyone whee

Clarity Incantation needed: 1 white candle 1- white rose - New moon
Unless you're already a practing witch, you might be casting spells -unconsciously- this may block your path. To clear your way. During a new moon pick one perfect white rose and sit in front of your altar. Light a white candle then close your eyes. Empty your mind and breathe deeply as in meditative way. When you feel a buzzing at the crown of your head from the inhaling and exhaling. Open your eyes and stare at the flame and repeat seven times: I am alive. I have power. It is real.
Let the candle burn out on its own.

Protective Barriers through Energy Manipulation
This is how my best friend and I started doing our protective barriers - occasionally we can get them strong enough they keep physical things out, but usually it's just for spirits or astral things...If it doesn't work for you, let me know and I'll see if there's anything I need to fix in detail or adapt for you. ^^
Step One: Decide what you want kept out. Step Two: In your mind, picture [in perfect detail] the area you want to be protected. Step Three: While picturing that area, focus on what you want kept out. Step Four: Now imagine a white light surrounding the area you want out. Keep forcing that image until it seems to be there of it's own free will. Step Five: If you want it to keep itself running, without you having to ground or recharge it, make it a dome, that runs under ground and ties together. Then tie it to an energy source [i.e. something in your room like a plant, the ground, or yourself].

Beginner's Protection Charm
1 White Candle 1 Charm or Jewelry Any Essential Oil
Make sure the charm/jewelry is something that is important to the person you're making it for.
Light your candle and hold the charm, suspended on a chain of some sort, over the flame. Repeat this phrase 3 times: "Thrice through the flame I pass it, Protection to the one who wears it." While moving it through(Or directly above) the flame after each.
Take your charm from the flame and snuff the candle (Do Not Blow It Out). Thank the god and goddess (Or whomever you choose) and anoint it with the oil saying this: "Within my power, I bless this charm. Protection to the one who wears it. An it harm none, So mote it be."
Then put it on or get it to whomever you made it for.

Finding your Personal Relaxation Breath Pattern
The Relaxation Breath Pattern is that depth and rate of breathing that is most calming for you physically. It is different for each person, varying with one's size, weight, and lung capacity. More over, most people who use breathing methods to relax frequently do the wrong thing. They usually go too far. They take breaths that are too deep or too slow and actually tense up again. If you have tried controlled yoga breathing (only one or two breaths per minute), you know that until you build up your lung capacity, the technique is difficult and at first tenses rather than relaxes.
The secret to identifying your Relaxation Breath Pattern is to find that point where you are taking even a fractionally slower or deeper breath begins to feel uncomfortable. You can locate that point simply by becoming aware of your breathing, by gradually slowing and deepening it until you reach a point where to go any further requires effort. Once you reach your Relaxation Breath Pattern, mentally focus on inhaling calmness and exhaling tensions. Within a few minutes you will feel stress draining away.
Let's try it. But before you begin note how you feel inside. How unstressed and calm do you feel? Compare this with the state of relaxation you achieve after using your Relaxation Breath Pattern.
1. Comfortable sit or recline. In meditation or relaxation techniques there is no magic to any particular posture or position ... The choice is yours as long as it satisfies the following three requirements: (a) it is comfortable, so you are not distracted by physical sensations of pain or discomfort; (b) it is not sleep inducing (so comfortable, that you consistently can't keep from falling asleep in that position); and (c) it is one that you can or do associate with relaxation or meditation. NOTE: I usually ignore these rules and do this just before I go to bed laying down. Mainly because if I am interrupted by someone I wouldn't have to explain my actions. Though I admit, from time to time I do fall asleep so the choice is yours in what position you choose.
2. Once you are comfortable, become aware of your breathing. Notice the frequency and the depth of your breathing. Gradually increase the depth of your breaths while at the same time slowing down your rate of breathing. Do this at your own pace and to a point where you are breathing at what you feel is the most relaxing and calming pattern for you: where to take even a fractionally deeper or slower breath would begin to feel uncomfortable. Stop there. This is your personal Relaxation Breath Pattern. NOTE: There is no required manner for breathing (for example, through the nose or mouth). Find the way that is most comfortable for you. Many people prefer to breathe in though the nose and out though the mouth. Also, you may keep your eyes open or closed.
3. Once you are comfortable maintaining your Relaxation Breath Pattern, begin to focus mentally on relaxing with each breath. With each inhalation focus on breathing with greater calmness and peace. Visualize and feel relaxation flowing into you each time you breath in. With each exhalation feel yourself blowing out the pressures and stresses of the day, and know that tension is draining from your body. Breathe in calmness and breathe out anything that stands in the way of maximum relaxation.
4. Maintain this focused breathing for 5 to 10 more breaths. Mentally command your entire body to relax and unwind. Hold in mind a time when you are completely at peace. As you breathe with your unique Relaxation Breath Pattern, Feel that same peaceful calm flow though every fiber of your being.
5. After several minutes note how you feel. Compare your inner sense of calmness with how you felt before you began.
Each time you follow the process described above it will be easier for you to recognize your unique Relaxation Breath Pattern. Gradually you will be able to lock into your mind the specific rate and depth of breathing that triggers relaxation. Eventually you will need only a few seconds to find and slip into it. Moreover, each time you perform the technique your body will increasingly come to associate relaxation with that specific breath pattern. Before long just one or two minutes of breathing with your Relaxation Breath Pattern will lower your pulse, reduce your blood pressure, and release the negative effects of stress.

Midsummer Ritual
Midsummer is the date of the Summer Solstice. Before doing this you will need to look up the date of the Solstice and the exact time.
Tools/Items You Will Need:
- 1 Pillar Candle (Get one that will burn for a long time) (Blue, Green, Yellow, White, Red, or Tan will do)
- Small Square of White Paper
- Pen
- Tweezers (metal)
- Fruit Offering
- Drink and Cake (take a canteen or little bottle of wine or juice, and a small ritual cake)
- An extremely accurate time keeping item (set your cellphone to match EXACTLY a GPS time online, the more exact, the better), set to alarm you to the minute before the Solstice Occurs.
You Will Also Need a Special Place Outside, preferably close to water but anywhere with direct earth or water access will work. Try to find a place that isn't loud and won't be disturbed either.
----
- This year (2005) The Summer Solstice is at 6:48 am on June 21st. Set your alarm for about 5 o'clock (am), more or less depending where your outdoor place is. Get up and get dressed and prepared, and wear comfortable clothing that will keep you warm. Gather all of your tools and items in a cloth or bag (the cloth can be used to sit on, if you choose to go the knapsack route). Keep the candle out, however.
- As you prepare to leave your home, light the candle. As you are lighting the candle, visualize the Candle being you, a soul, a small little flame. The Home Is Your Body, and it is everything material. Leave your house, and focus on your candle as it lights the way as you walk to your ritual place. Remember- this is symbolic of your soul leading you through the dark to the Light Place, the Good Place.
- When you get to your place, set your candle down on an even spot, and remove all your items from your cloth or pouch. Set up a circle (don't use candles to make your circle, and use your hand as the casting tool). Then, wait. As you wait, meditate on yourself, and on the changes you wish to make to yourself. Keep yourself relaxed and calm.
- When your alarm goes off (don't make it loud and annoying, if possible.. make it something soft) write on the piece of paper something about yourself that you want to change, a bad habit that you want to drop. Fold the paper from top to bottom, then left to right. Use the tweezers to pick up the small square, and starting from the right hand corner of the diamond, catch that corner on fire with the candle. Rotate it to the bottom corner, then the left corner, then finally the north corner (do this at the same time as the Solstice is official). As you're doing this, visualize the Bad Habit being seperated from you as your soul burns it out of you. This is the chant that I sing when I do it:
Aequora es liquidus, liquidus, liquidus Aequora Es Liquidus Liquidus Per Vita
Docui mihi eruditio quod scientia, scientia Docui mihi scientia Quod Eruditio per Vita.
Commodo utor is atrum Quod verto is elucido Lux lucis postulo fruor is Vita.
- Basically, its a "water is life, knowledge is life, take the dark and turn it into light" chant. You can make your own, either way, ask the Earth/Water whatever to take the ashes and turn it into good. Allow the ashes of the paper to fall onto the Earth. Thank the Earth for taking your bad habit, and leave a small offering of food on the ground to balance out the negative you just gave away. Feast on your cakes and drink, then extinquish your candle.
-----------
It's a relatively small ritual, but its a nice one. Midsummer is also the time to collect your Ritual Water if you can, so gather it from a Lake, River, or Ocean if you are nearby at this time. If you take stuff from the River, bring three fortune offerings (pennies, or jewelry [not nice stuff, but broken chains, cheap rings, etc]).. it'll keep the Sea Goddesses from stealing your Nice Jewelry when you're out playing in the water at a later date xd .

I got this from someone else, and I thought it might help.
What to Include in Your Book of Shadows
The most valuable and essential tool to the witch is a BoS (Book of Shadows). This is a collection of all your learnings, memories, rituals, etc. in one place. Most modern Wiccans use a three-ring binder to make it easy to arrange documents and add in other papers. This can, of course, be hand-written or printed from a computer.
The following is a listing of some common things people keep in their BoS. Don't limit yourself- just because these are the most ordinary things to keep, it doesn't mean they are the only things you can keep. Creativity will make your BoS more special.
The Wiccan Rede Include a copy of the rede. You may also want to have an evaluation of the rede- that is, "dissect" the rede and consider each statement, and write about its meaning and value to your practices. Our copy of the rede can be found here.
The Sabbats Have a copy of the eight major sabbats and include information on the importance of each one. Our online list of the sabbats can be found here plus rituals, recipes, information, and activities for the sabbats are available here.
Calendar A calendar of the moon phases, progressions, and the astrological signs they are in each day. Mark new moons and full moons. Also include major events, holidays, and sabbats. See Moon Phases and the Lunar Correspondences Guide.
Magickal Correspondences A list of what each god and goddess represents, and a list of the meanings of herbs in magick, and the symbolism of different candle colors. Maybe include a list of the significance of different scented incences. Click here to visit a large collection of correspondences.
Rituals and Spells Have a section of rituals and spells you find practical and useful, or you may need for future occasions. Click here to visit our Spellbook online.
Chants and Poems Chants or prayers you find especially nice are good for your BoS collection. Also, personal poetry and your own hand-written chants would be a great addition to your book.
Daily Journal/ Dream Journal A journal of daily events and occurences is always a good idea. A dream journal is also an excellent suggestion- recording and analyzing dreams can help you to become more in touch with your "third eye", or psychic awareness. We have an couple outlines for dream journals, which you can find on our dreams and lucidity page.
Insights Your path to learning can help you more in the future if you are able to look back on it. Ask yourself questions, and write your responses in a section of personal insights. As opposed to a daily journal, this will not record actual events, but instead, will help you to reflect on theories and thoughts. Think about how you began on this path, reconsider your ways of life, think about the wonders of reality, write a little on what Wicca means to you and how it's changed your outlook on life. Anything goes. And you can always return to a previous insight, and add what new views you've stumbled upon! Don't forget to write the time/date on each entry!
Remember, don't just stick a bunch of stuff into your BoS. Only include what you consider to be of value, and always make your own alterations. If you put a ritual in their, write side-notes on what you decided to change for your purpose. If you put an inspirational article in there, add your own thoughts and ideas in the margins.

Charge of the Goddess For Children By: DragonFire
Younger children often need things explained in simpler terms for them to understand. This is my attempt at making the Charge a bit easier for children to understand.
---------------------------------
Once a month when the moon is full, you and your family should gather together if you are in need of something.
You can dance, sing, eat and laugh. I am the happiness you feel and I am happy seeing you, and those you love, happy.
Everything you do, do it out of love. Do not do anything to hurt another person. Keep learning new things all your life. Believe in your dreams. Don't let anyone tell you that what you think or dream is wrong. I am the spirit inside you. Your spirit will live forever. When you die I will bring you together with your loved ones that have joined me. I will always love you and give you what you need in your life. You do not need to give me back anything. Take what you need from me. You can always see me in the beauty of the earth. I am in the air, water and land. When you need strength call upon me. I am within you.
I was with you at the beginning of your life and I'll be there at the end.
So speaks the Goddess.
