I love Greek mythology! Does anyone else? If so, who's your favorite god or goddess or hero or monster? Whatever! Mine's Ares, god of war. He's always been my favorite for some reason.

Mine has always been Hestia (Hestea?). I'm a very domestic sort of person anyway and she just seems so sensible - never really involves herself with all the craziness the rest of her family get themselves into.

I've always liked Aphrodite & Athena. Depends on my mood. I was totally rooting for Athena in the whole vs. Poseidon/city thing. I'm glad she got Athens. As for the whole Paris/Helen thing, I was rooting for Athena that time, too. Flashing a mortal when you're the goddess of beauty seems a bit too underhanded for me.

Mercury/Hermes. He has the coolest shoes whee
I'm in the process of designing shoes with wings. For no other reason than my own enjoyment.

I would have to say Apollo. There is just something about him that I find intriging.

My favorites are Persephone and Artemis. I can just identify with them so well that I can't help but like them.

Ever since my report in high school, I've always loved the story of Persephone and Hades, and how Demeter brings on the seasons as a result.

I'd have to say that I like Prometheus the best. One of the last Titans, a race that was strong enough to take on the gods. In a myth, he was the one who introduced fire onto mankind. A good guy...yup, a good guy.

I rather like Hades. I can sympathize with him.
Prometheus was, indeed, a great guy. So kind and selfless.
I don't really like Hera (although I can't blame her for being jealous; Zeus was rather... adulterous), but I don't like Zeus either. Most of the gods had their favoritism and their flaws, which is part of what makes Greek mythology so interesting. Ancient Greece, in my opinion, had some of the best myths because their gods were so human.
Overall I suppose I'd have to say Hades. He's underrated. =3

Mythology is my favorite part of history. I look into it a lot.
My favorite would have to be Artemis.

Ancient Greece, in my opinion, had some of the best myths because their gods were so human. I agree. I find it quite amusing that the Greek epic heroes (who are often descended from gods, handsome, strong, brave, and moral) are sometimes more godly than the gods. Lol. Anyway, I think that either Hepheastus or Athena is my favorite god.
