Any ones similar to imadoki, ai-zu, Love hina (expect not as cheezy, not that I dislkie love hina, cos I like it) , Times two, yeah down to earth ones - perferably in a highschool?

Peach Girl
MARS (absolutely love this series, though it is rather long and came out a while ago..actually, all three of these did. sweatdrop )
Fruits Basket has a touch of high school, mixed in with a larger plot...
but beyond those, I can't really help since I don't know/bother to read most of the manga you listed. sweatdrop

Love For Venus is set in university... it is really good/sweet and came out this year in Australia. I have got the first volume of Absolute Boyfriend... it is kind of like Chobits in reverse and is set in highschool. Those are my picks. Hope they help.

A lot of these are mangas and are easily found on the 'net, They're basically all shojo, picked these based on the titles you gave, hope you don't mind.
