Safe Zone This is the 'main city' of this level, although very few people live here. There is a small community of magic users dedicated to their duties here, but only three or four 'other' people at a time. It is the only part of the level that seems to obey normal physical laws. Magic users nearing the end of their formal training, or being 'tested' for their initiation into the arcane rebels' faction, are sent here to begin their trials. ((Faction leader, if you don't want to do this, just let me know and I'll change it.))

Karma had been sat on the edge of the safe zone for almost a day. She found it interesting to track peoples minds in the trials area as they either survived or slowly went mad. She found it facinating and had spent many a days down here despite the fact she actually lived on the light level. She was so experienced from watching others down here she could almost always corectly guess whether any given person would survive or not. Although she found pshycology and how peoples minds work incredibly interesting she still had to turn away as maddened individuals stumbled, were led or even sometimes carried out of the maze of the area that surrounded her.

She walked out of the meeting house and glanced around at the deserted streets. Something felt wrong but she couldn't put her finger on it she started through the streets towards the center of the level and the only accesible lift. She reached it a few minutes later, her cheeks rosy from the brisk, chilly walk. She stepped in to the empty elevator which began its climb up a level. She was unsure where would be best to start her recruitment so she planned to stop on each level and just decide from how the level felt.

Chthon stepped out of the elevator and looked at the area around him. He couldn't see anybody there. In the distance he saw a building that he figured to be the meeting house that he read of in the flyer that he was handed. Chthon began to walk towards the building and in a matter if time, he was standing in front of the doors. Pushing them open, he stepped inside.

Karma alighted from the nearly empty lift with the other few inhabitants of the shadow level. 'I really must move all my stuff down here soon...' she thought heading back to the round building she'd commisioned to be built as close as possible to the lifts. She walked up to the steps into one of the entrances and pushed the door open to emit (sp?) her to the main hallways.

Behind her the high speed emergency shuttle appeared "Strap in guys" she said taking a seat and buckling herself into it "This will be alot faster than the normal journey".
The faeries all took seats in one corner and strapped in before they began talking to each other in lowered voices.

He stepped into the shuttle and sat down in one of the seats. He buckled himself in and looked down at the floor. He was still trying to figure out what he was going to do to help.
