Usiaki Sohma sat on the lawn in front of what appeared to be a deserted house. She stared blankly at nothing in particular as she stroked a stray, underfed cat mechanically. It purred, its tail twitching.
"Why is life so lonely, Pretty?" She whispered. The cat opened its green eyes and looked up at her mysteriously. "Maybe you're right, Pretty. Maybe you're right."

"Usi-Chan..." Koshi's voice faded into silence. She looked down, hoping that everthing will be okay. She looked up suddenly, forcing a smile. "Usi-Chan! Let's go do something fun!" She runs up to Usi, tugging on her sleeve.

*kiba walks up to a side of the building and pushed one of the bricks to show a secret entrance that led down. he walked down to be in a room full of nothing except a bed and some clothes* wel.. at least they left.... why after all this time... why did they show up now? he thought about it for a minute and thought he should leave it as it should beh... heh.. they've grown a bit... that is funny especially since they were sticks as kids... lol

Usi stared at the ground, but followed close behind Koshi. Her mind wandered to the last time she saw Kiba. Suddenly her hand flew to her neck, she ran her finger across her beads. The ones that kept away the curse. The ones she wore on her necklace. They were still there.
A silent tear slipped down Usi's cheek as she remembered. Luckily, no one noticed, including Koshi.
