If you would put it under one of these categories, which would you choose?
I'd pick fantasy. Simply because it just doesn't capture medieval history all too well.

... last time I checked, (Unfortunatly) there wasn't such a thing as Wyverns, Pegasi, or magic in medival times.... at least, no CONFIRMED evidence.... stare

My doctor says that it's all in my head, but I don't think a wyvern could fit in my head, silly doctor.

The only way anyone could *not* label FE as fantasy is if said person believed that "the only true fantasy" involves elves, dwarves, hobbits, and all that other stuff Tolkien had. I am not a person who would believe something that stupid.

I voted for mediaval because it's the first thing that came into mind when thiking about FE....the costume are quiet mediaval style. the CAstle too....
but yea, it's a mix of fantasy and mediaval

tipzntrix I'd pick fantasy. Simply because it just doesn't capture medieval history all too well. I agree with you, but I still think it's both. I think the reason it gets a medieval vibe from it is because of the knights, paladins, and lords and the fact that dragons are a threat. I don't know. xd That's actually a tough question, but regardless of what I just said I'm gonna put it under the Fantasy category.

I think that FE is a mix of both fantasy and medieval.

a mix of both but i think theres a little bit more midevile or how ever u spell it... cause u got athos who i think is suppose 2 be like a merlin type guy and u got dragons swords lances axes. kinda sounds more of a medivele type thing to me

Well, the legend of King Arthur, which invovles Merlin, is in fact fantasy since it can't be proven that that actually was the way things were. As for the dragons...one day I'll make a genetically engineered dragon...one day when actually know what the hell I'm talking about, which won't happen for awhile or ever. sweatdrop
