Not to long ago I met an old friend and we started chattin about FE:SS. He said that he was kind of disappointed with it. He said he felt that the characters in SS were kind of bland, and that the story didn't feal like an emergency due to the fact that you could wander around, visit ruins, fight roming groups of monsters and lvl making the story scenes patheticly easy.

My friend summed it up like this:


I got to thinking, he may have been right. We had to carefully level up the people we wanted to be using in FE or we'd have to start over or hope that the characters that we lvled up could handle it. Not like it was hard but it still had a sence of importance and a "oh crap so-n-so might not be strong enough to kill that guy" In FE:SS it was "hmm he got hit twice....better go lvl him up a few times" *heads to tower*

Anyone share my friends fealings or is it just him over analyzing.

Well that clears up the Over leveling, but what about the characters.
He says that the characters were not developed very well.
