In the past, the prationers to the path that you chose had a very strong connection to one animal. Most were really close to cats, but there are some who used dogs, rats, toads, snakes, birds, and even aquatic animals. Some of these connections were so close that the animal and the prationer both could talk with one another. The animal is known as a familear, an animal that has a strong enough link with their caretaker that they would follow, protect, and help out with anything that is needed. You probably have a familear, and just didn't realize it.
Things to tell if you have a familear, from the outdoors, is if the animal follows you around and no one else. If the animal would only take food you offer it from your hand. The animal would allow you to touch it without being skiddish.
Indoor animals, such as pets, would do these to show that their your familear. Follows you around the house. Eats when you eat. Wants to go places with you even if you are with family or friends. Sleeps next to your bed or with you on you bed. Helps out with you children/baysitting by distracting them from trouble or to tell you about the trouble in their own way.
If any of these things sounds familear, then you just might have a Familear within your eye site. You need to work on developing the bond between both yourself and the animal, even if it's just a fish, and make sure that the bond is a really strong one. Some have more then one familear. I as an example have a dog and a fish as a familear. They both never got to meet eachother, but are very loyal. My fish would let me pet him! And my dog followed me to school one time. She, only being about two and a half in length and one and a half in height, cleared a seven foot fence just to be with me.

True love is way over rated. As for familiers. I have had two. Both cats. One of the cats had to go to the pound when I moved to KS. The one I have now is my black and white cat Hannah. She works out great.

I think that mine is a cat as well but I am not too sure so do not take my word on that I have one but it does not let me see it, I know when it is around but it will be out of my eyesight but I know it is there.

I have never had anything but a cat as a familier. And I went in search of my second one. I needed a cat who could take over some of the responcibilities that my old cat Hank was doing for me. So I had bought Hannah. She was more of a companion for Hank but I started doing spells with her and Hank and slowly moved Hannah into Hanks spot as familier since Hank was very old. Sometimes its okay to search for a familier and sometimes it doesn't work. But when I was searching I found Hannah and she is perfect for the job at hand. burning_eyes

On my myspace page I have pics posted of my old familier Hank and my new familier Hannah. Hank is a grey and white large furry house cat. And Hannah is slightly smaller though a little fat black and white house cat. I had to get rid of Hank when I moved and I miss him very much though a good sorce told my mom that she thinks Hank was adopted. I hope so he deserves a good home where he can spend the rest of his life relaxing. He deserves it after all the years of faithful love and happiness he gave me

I will be adding a new pet to my little family. I will be buying a small bird. More then likely a parakeet, or a canary, maybe even a finch. I don't know yet. Not one of those big birds. I will name it after one of the Goddesses. or Gods depending on the gender of the bird. once again I am excited. I have to be careful because Hannah eats birds. ^_^
