ATTEND THE PLUSHIE WORKSHOP, I COMMAND YOU!
  poll whore, don't care..
  Friday, I'm so there!
I'll be first in line on Saturday!
I'll go Sunday- too tired to do anything else by then!
I hate plushies, and fear that sewing will turn me into a nancy boy.
I'm gonna try to sneak in all three days!
  There's a Plushie Workshop?!?
I'll go, if I can afford it!
  I've already been!
No, but I'll go at some other con!

Are you going? One workshop per day, 3 workshops total for Anime Boston 2006. $8.00/student, what a great value!

nope, it was still $8 last year. too-- Nekocon convinced me to do it at $6, but if i want to afford traveling out there, i CANNOT do that again! *so lucky, those that got the good discount! Neko comped me a badge that year, which helps a LOT, but it's too far away, ya know?*

NEXT YEAR it might go up to $10. we'll see!

I wanted to go to your workshop so badly, but all three days it fell at the same time as a LARP or something, so I couldn't make it sad

hey-- that's the FIRST YEAR pattern from michelle! were at hers (friday or saturday?) or mine (sunday, when we only had one pattern, and NO stuffing?) -- it's REALLY hard to find pics of those, and i finally met a first-year student at THIS con, who'd finished an 8-bit link from that pattern.

i DO remember a student asking about harem pants in that first (sunday) class waaaay back then-- was that you?

also-- love the faces! are you using paint?

I was at the Sunday one, where you had one pattern, some instructions, and no clue how the plushie was supposed to be assembled. I remember you talking about the harem pants. I didn't ask about them, but I did take the advice and made Sumomo with it.

The eyes are made with sticky-backed felt, and the faces are painted on with acrylics. A lot of the small details are painted on, too.
