Isn't Symphony X just a great band? I only own one album by them so far (The Damnation Game is awesome!), but I have to say, Russell Allen is an incredible vocalist! Anybody else agree? I'm getting The Odyssey next. Who else likes Symphony X?

I have The Odyssey album and it freaking owns The Odyssey is such an amazing song.

I only have The Odyssey and V, but they are top-notch.

there a great band, what i like about the band is the bass (thomas miller) and guitar connection.

I love Symphony X. The piano and the guitar solos kill me. I'm also a sucker for extended vocal harmony.

Master_Kaballmo Super band. Allen's vocals on "Live on Earth" by Star One are top-notch too. Star One is awesome. Space Metal is one of my favorite Prog. albums. It's better than Arjen's early work w/ Ayreon. Stream of Passion and Ambeon are good too. Arjen is a Metal Messiah! Anyway, I always thought Symphony X were a Prog. Metal band. I only have a few songs on my comp, but I haven't really chosen a favorite.

I have Twilight In Olympus, The Damnation Game, and Divine Wings of Tragedy, and they all make me cream my pants.
Smoke and Mirrors, as well as Candlelight Fantasia are amazing.

amazing band, its a pity that i cant find any of their stuff at any of the stores i shop at... id have to say my fave song of theirs is "out of the ashes", awesome song
