Everyone has that one moment in metal you'll never forget. Mine has to do with Amon Amarth.
My friends and I were hanging around back the place they were playing, when they finally showed up. So we're all kind of hanging out talking to them and stuff. My friend was piss drunk, and kept asking Johan "Are you playing The Sound of Eight Hooves?" Johan kept saying that they weren't, but my friend wouldn't shut up. Johan whispered to us "Can you get your friend out of here? He's pretty ******** annoying." It was so damn funny. And after the concert, we went to pizza hut across the road, and they were there eating and invited us over to eat. cool I'll tell you what, Johan eats a lot of pizza.

Tash NaliDar I'll tell you what, Johan eats a lot of pizza. Too ******** right he does. Mine would probably be meeting Timo Kotipelto and becoming a gibbering little fangirl. What I meant to say was "I really dig your music and you're a great influence as a vocalist" What I ACTUALLY said was "Gahhamaa yarahh Teeeymo... "

My most memorable event was probably when I slept wi.. no wait. Getting ABSOLUTELY wrecked with Edguy was awesome. Dirk is one funny, funny man.

One of the funniest moments I've ever had at a show was a Dragonforce. It was an awesome show, but there were a ton of kids, and non-metal fags that were just acting like dicks. Well anyways, me and my friends were just chilling behind the circle pit during one of the opening acts, and there were these two hardcore fags doing their dace around karate chopping and s**t and they kept on smashing into us so eventually my friend jeff just pushes one of them and he goes flying right into this really big guy, who then turns around and just knocks the ******** out of him. It made that particualr opening band more enjoyable.

The funniest moment was when my buddies convined me that Blind Guardian would be playing in Calgary on their upcoming tour. They had me going for a while, then I went to the website to make sure that the venue was all-ages, but no Calgary show. In fact, no shows in alberta at all. Actually, that moment wasn't funny at all.
I hate Alberta. We're rich oil barons, but we can't get ******** Blind Guardian over here. I mean, Sonata Arctica played like 4 shows in Alberta just this year, for ******** sake. SONATA ARCTICA. (Which I still couldn't see, because they were alll 18+ venues) FOUR SHOWS. Like, what the ********? I Sonata Arctica can scrounge up enough fans to play three of four shows in Alberta, why the ******** can't Blind Guardian, Dragonforce, Gamma Ray, or Rhapsody haul their funny european asses over here?
... Damn, this should be in the rant area. My bad.

Someone commented and said "my favorite part was 14 seconds in when the hardcore a*****e got LEVELED", I had to agree.

My bad. sonata are the most worst touring people ever.. they sell out every time they play in the netherlands or germany, but they play only 1 sometimes 2 times a year over here.. and they play mayer tours in america (almost nothing selling out) how stupid is that? neutral my memorial moment: gig of opeth

I don't know how you all manage meeting bands. My friend Malachy was given Sam's beer, from the man himself but only when he saw them in America. I've only seen DragonForce once but it was really good, the venue was quite small so they were like 6 meters away. The only concert I've been to, given that I couldn't afford the ticket to Maiden in Dublin last year. I'd love to see Sonata Arctica in concert though, as well as Maiden and Blind Guardian. I think I'd probably faint if I met Hansi Kursch before I even got out the words "Your vocals are ******** amazing."
