A favourite anime of mine. Two boys, Edward Elric and Alphonse Elric try to revive their dead mother with alchemy. But the powers of alchemy run on the rule "To gain something, something of equal value must be lost". Edward Elric loses his right arm and left leg while Alphonse Elric loses his whole body. They both then go in search of the philophsers stone to restore their bodies. Unknowingly falling into a deadly situation....A dark anime at times, but it's a must see.

very good anime.
I didn't like the movie as much as the series, it had a bit of an open ending (again.) And all ongoing romances are pretty much brushed off in the movie sad
Anyway, I really enjoyed this. It's deep, it has good animation and awesome characters. Also the balance between good and evil characters is done really well.
I really liked ~Alex Louis Armstrong~! *throws off his shirt and does poses* lol.

yeah the movie sucked and the ending grrrrr Ed and Al aren't special if they can't use their alchemy anymore *sigh*
and dont forget the pink sparklies with your Armstrong pose lol

fullmetal alhemist is the best
haven't seen the movie only the beginning and that just confuses me....
oh and thanks for ruining the ending tad.
you have the coolest pic of the humunculi though!

FMA is really good. Armstrong is one of my favorite characters but Wrath is first.

Immortal_Punk fullmetal alhemist is the best haven't seen the movie only the beginning and that just confuses me.... oh and thanks for ruining the ending tad. you have the coolest pic of the humunculi though! no problem! Just watch it on youtube lol

anitasakura FMA is really good. Armstrong is one of my favorite characters but Wrath is first. my favourite charcter is Ed! Yay but I also like envy.

Thanks but I already bought all of the DVDs and I watched the movie on youtube and the movie to me was a real let down. What a shame, and the movie is the end of the series by the way.
