Ok is it just me or is finding five bloody grand soul gems to cure vampirism in Oblivion just a bit much? Yes being a vamp has it's advantages but it cripples your character and you always seem to get it when it's least useful. After many frustrated days of searching i found the gems only to be sent of after another load of stuff. It's fun but it sucks. In fact Curing Vampirism is officially the longest and most complex quest in the whole game. Ok so who here LOVES being a bloodsucker?

Also, I have so many Weykinald and Sigil stones that I have NO idea what to do with them. crying
But I'm not a vampire, so it doesn't matter. sweatdrop

I like being a vampire in oblivion. I'm a breton, so my strength is on the low side, so the stat bonus is good.

Igloo's having trouble with his vampire cure missions. crying He thinks the woman he needs to talk to disappeared and now he also thinks his game is corrupt.

Well...I loved being a bloodsucker in Morrowind so I just might like it in Oblivion. According to what happens, me like...I might make a file just for vampirism fooling around though...

I tried to do that quest I had to go to all the mages guild places to buy the empty grand soul gems it cost me a fortune then there was more stuff to do and I got mad after that because the stuff after it was even harder

^^ I hate them so much. But nah, as long as you don't get too far a vampire, it's great. I don't think I ever tried to cure it... danm then you would hate my battle mage i throw so much fire in that game its not very funny

I just sort of come across soul gems in Morrowind. I never really care to look for them but if find them, even if they are petty I keep them for the heck of it lol

I don't know, being a Vampire is supposed to be hell. Plus, even if you ARE cured, you still stay pretty fugly.

tablecat Purgeblood Salts. Thread over. but what about people who dont have the vile lair? They are stuck with the quest unless they have the pc version, then theres a script thing or whatever its called (Cheat code? I dont know >.<)to cure vampirism and to make you become a vampire
