gonk I saw an unknown season at YouTube!! It's called "Digimon Savers" er something. Anyway, that being said, of course it means a 5th one coming. Hopefully it'll come out this summer so I can keep up with it. 3nodding

Originally the Digimon series was planned to last for seven series, each with a different set of children. However, unforseen problems arose with the release of the Frontier series in Japan and America. In Japan, Digimon fans were fading in numbers as Poke'mon gained popularity. The same was true for America but worse as Disney acquired the rights to air Frontier. Since Disney is a channel that costs extra to view not everyone that would have liked to watch Frontier were able to.
As of April 2006 a new series of Digimon, the fifth series, has aired in Japan and is set to air in America in 2007. Digimon Savers is the title of this new series. Digimon Savers differs from the previous four seasons in a few noticable ways. First, the characters are older...in their middle teens as oppossed to 8-10 age in the previous seasons. Second, the drawing style is more anime-ish and differs from the standard that Digimon had set in the first four series.

im not sure it something my friend said about having 7 seasons.. and then buring the films befor they get out sweatdrop oh well thanks for the info 3nodding 4laugh ninja
