The Unlucky numbers in Japanese Culture is Ku and Shi. Which is 9 and 4. The reason why its unlucky is because that "Ku" means suffering in japanese, and Shi means death.
Japanese Numbers
0 -Rei
1 -Ichi
2 -Ni
3 -San
4 -Shi [Perferred "Yon"]
5 -Go
6 -Roku
7 -Shichi
8 - Hachi
9 -Ku [Perferred "Kyu"]
10 -Ju
20 -Niju
100 -Hyaku
1,000 -Sen
10,000 -Man
8,000,000 -Happyakuman

The Lucky numbers in Japanese is 8 which is "Hachi". it is lucky because the Kanji Word "Hachi" looks like a mountain. Japanese people consider mountains lucky.

oh~! lol~ I am glad you said 8 was a lucky number~ because sing a song in the shower that suposed to mean " 7's luck is false " but I kept on saying 8 for some unknown reason o.O like I keep trying to correct my self~ but you know when you just go with the flow for a long time it is hard to break it sweatdrop but I was right any way :O~ that is good~ my mistake wasn't so bad XD sweatdrop

I know in one game(cant remember the title) if you look at the clock at 4:44AM/PM the game will crash

I actually heard from my sister that hachi (eight) is considered unlucky because it's a multiple of shi (four) *shrugs*
