I'm just curious to see who here has cosplayed at conventions from Naruto or other shows. Post your pictures and who you went as!
This year at ACen I cosplayed as Neji, and I'll post pics if I ever get them from my friend >.<
I'm not sure where this would go in here, so I'll just leave it be for now sweatdrop

Lol, what do you mean?!....
Anyways, I haven't ever cosplayed- I didn't even know about it till last year, and then didn't know of any conventions within 5 hours of me until like March.... But I was strongly considering cosplaying as Deidara at the upcoming one near me in June(that'd be the one in NJ). But.. truth be told, I'm kinda scared and embarrassed about the whole thing, and besides that, have nothing for the costume yet, so I guess it isn't gonna be happening. My parents would think I'm crazy anyway- doing something like this at 20 years old and all.... But if they'd let me go to the convention, if I had friends who lived nearby willing to attend with me, and if I could buy and assemble all the costume parts in time, I'd dress as Dei. It just... doesn't seem like it'll all come together by June though *sob*.

Oh, okay... I thought that maybe you meant not only that, but you dress like a ninja from Naruto every day. A girl at my sister's school does that, so I didn't know for sure what you meant... But cool.

That's what I call being very into Naruto, and then my friends call me a Naruto-freak. ^_^ Back to cosplaying... I have never cosplayed in my entire life, because simply there is only once a year here in Belguim this sort of convention and what I've heard it isn't all that big. Then ofcourse I lack the funds. And where should I buy the clothes and all? Sometimes Belguim really isn't worth much... sad and I really hoped for an Akatsuki cloak and a forehead-protector... Aww crying

yeah time and money are a real pain in trying to pull together a cosplay, as for the sewing skills those i have, since recently i designed a shirt for state competition in fashion apparel.
theres also a couple people at my school who wear the headprotector to school every so often.
i just recently started cosplaying too since it was pretty much my friend nagging me to do so all the time sweatdrop

Honestly, if I would go to school with a forehead protector (Hey... I could steal the forehead protector from my brother, he wouldn't mind *Evil Grin*) my friends would call me insane. But then again, Naruto isn't know here. Actualy almost nothing from Anime or Manga is known here. Allthough, it would seem funny to have the Konoha mark on your head. 3nodding

Yeah, same here. The only people who know it here are the people I know from anime club or the ones that I've spread it to. I think it would be more odd to have the konoha mark on my forehead, but hey thats just me.

Well actually come to think of it I did I dressed up as naruto once but the clothes looked nothing alike but the streakes on his cheek were perfect on me and also as Itachi, my brother and one of his friends went to a Naruto thingy and his friend bought a ninja head band and the Itachi's cloak I fiddled around with it and a bit of black eye liner and in no i was the scary Itachi but it really didn't suite me. Unfortunately I didn't have a camera on me so no pictures of me looking weird. lol rofl

For Halloween, I was "Ghetto Black Evil Sasuke" I put on a white thermal shirt, a blue shirt over that, long white pants, and shoes. Then I put on my ninja headband, and went ninja'ing' through the night. It was fairly cold. sweatdrop
